Beautiful Journey of Acceptance
Woven within this beautiful love story is an unforgettable journey of overcoming obstacles and learning to embrace what's truly best for oneself. With each new book that I've come across by this author I'm blown away by her ability to craft stories that resonate so deeply with me as a reader and how they leave me thinking days later like Color Me Pretty did.Della was a truly relatable character for me whose struggles closely mirror ones I've battled. Her strength and resilience in her journey of healing and acceptance pulled at my heartstrings. I completely adored Theo and the way he was always a pillar of strength and support for Della. These two were captivating perfection and I loved watching their story unfold.Color Me Pretty was a beautiful and thought-provoking read with amazing characters who wove themselves around my heart. This story resonated with me on so many levels and brought on all the feels. If you love your taboo, age gap reads with tons of heart then dive into Color Me Pretty and be prepared to love Della and swoon for Theo.

So much more than just a father's best friend read
B. Celeste writes another amazing book with characters that are intriguing and unique.Color Me Pretty isnt just a father's best friend or an age gap, but a beautiful masterpiece about self image. Every woman doesn't like their body at one point in their life. Della struggles with her body. The media hounded her and she gained alot of weight between the pressure from them and her dance instructor. She starved herself, and made herself really sick, now she struggles with eating, and thinking that she looks hideous.Theo is one of my favorites of all of Barbara's heros. He was always there for Della when she needed him throughout her life. He struggled with his feelings for her. He tells her she is beautiful, and helps her with her body issues. Him and Ramsey are so cute together 🤤🤤🤤Della is a strong heroine that grows so much throughout the story. I absolutely loved her, and was rooting for her the whole time.I loved Ren and Tiff and hope they get their own books. Preferably a MM for Ren or MMF with Tiff.I definitely recommend this book if you love this author's books, or even if you are new to her.

This cover gives me life
This cover gives me life!B celeste released Color Me Pretty last month? Idk my life has been a mess anyways i finally finished it last week (again its my life's fault)Color Me Pretty is a taboo read (fathers best friend/ age gap) I was so excited to read this story. And it was goooood. It deals with some very serious topics and at times was a little too much for me to handle and do i would put it down (usually because I had a fire to put out. In someways Color Me Pretty is a dark read. There are probably triggers to this one. So if you're interested in reading it maybe DM me your triggers and I'll let you know.

4 stars!!!
"I don't want to be the person you get to love in the dark, Theo."I really loved this father's best friend romance!!! Color Me Pretty was filled with steam and hit me in the feels. Seriously, some of the STEAMIEST scenes I've read.🔥 I just wish there were more "couple" moments. Della was such a strong and compassionate heroine while Theo is a new favorite book boyfriend. He made me weak in the knees. 😍 And we're getting Ren's story now so I couldn't be happier!!!

Tough read but worth it!
B. Celeste does'nt avoid the hard topics. This wasn't a binge reaspd for me. I had to read it in stages. The pain and struggle that Della had with something simple that I take for granted was painful to walk through. I can't promise it wont hurt but i promise you come out better on the other side afterwards. Take the risk.

Best novel by B. Celeste yet!
Color Me Pretty is sitting “pretty” as one of my all-time favorite novels! I’m in love with Theo and Della’s Love! I was hooked from the first page, and I never wanted the story to end! Like all of B’s novels, Color Me Pretty is full of raw, honest, and real emotion. Her ability to write complex characters continues to blow my mind. I can’t wait to reread this beautiful love story and devour all of the little goodies B has placed within these pages! It is with full confidence that I recommend Color Me Pretty to everyone as I believe whoever reads this novel will learn a little something about themselves that they might not have recognized before. Well done, B, this is another success in my book!

Early review
I haven’t fully finished the book... so I’ll update later. So far the first two chapters were good!I just wanted to review in advance because I saw a review that wasn’t the best but it was talking about a completely different author and book! Trying to give this book a chance! :)

Powerful and Raw
This was amazing! This wasn't just a fling with the fathers best friend, it went so much deeper than that. Della was a fantastic character, she had been through so much yet didn't play victim she was strong. There was just enough sexual build up between them that it was like fireworks exploded when they finally got together!

disappointed as it was advertised so well
I gave up at 10% because there was too much description about the characters rather than story. "Show not tell" springs to mind, and while I don't mind descriptions, there was 12 pages of nothing happening in the story.

Very hard to connect with
Couldn’t really invest in either of the mains. The story was a slow burn too, not something I enjoy overall

Bummer
Not what I was looking for. The father's best friend theme couldn't really unfold because there was one important character missing: the father. Yes, the age difference played a role but then - not really. The heroine had lots of personal drama to deal with and that was not what I wanted to read about. I would recommend the other books of this author (The truth about...).
