I needed a light to put in my living room so I can see early in the mornings when I'm leaving for work. This is just bright enough to see where I'm going. It's not a real bright light in a big room but maybe a little to bright for say a bathroom. An the light sensor work perfectly as well.

These lights were my third attempt to find just the right amount of lightness in the middle of the night. The first, with a simple on/off sensor, was a total flop. Not only did they provide very little useful light, a sickly yellow, at that, they flickered all day long, regardless of the amount of light in the room. The second was a fancier model with truly white light and a motion sensor that was supposed to provide an increase in brightness when it sensed motion at several feet and maintain it for 60 seconds before returning to a dimmer light. It didn't pick up motion until I was practically on top of it, and it would turn off after maybe ten seconds, while I was still on my way back to bed. I took a lot of time before choosing this light. The size of the square that provides the light looked like it would really do the trick, and it did, even though it was a return to a more low-tech light without the motion sensor; it was one less thing to go wrong. It's everything I hoped for and more. It lights up as soon as a room becomes dark, and it actually turns off completely as soon as it detects a sufficient amount of light. It lights a path of many yards, including areas around tall pieces of furniture that the other lights left in darkness. This includes going around to my side of the bed, which is blocked by furniture and has an obstacle course in the form of a step my husband made so short little me could get into today's high beds without a ladder. That's quite an accomplishment for a simple light, because the step is carpeted with a remnant from our carpeting, blending into the woodwork, so to speak, and I had to find it by Braille with the other lights. I can see every shadow along the way now. It might sound like it has to be too bright, but it isn't at all. In fact, I find the glow soothing at night, and it really adds to an old lady insomniac's safety during repeated middle-of-the-night prowls. After being so pleased with the first set of lights, I ordered another and will probably get one more, which will provide all the light a moderate-sized house could ever need in the dark. I'm so glad I decided on this model.

Even with my kitchen lights on, night light doesn't turn off! Sorry I bought these! Not energy friendly as they stay on all the time!

I ordered these nightlights as I have lots of older family come to visit and need to get up a lot in the night. They loved these. These are very bright!

This has been a great addition to my home. I put one in the hallway and restroom to help with late night urges to use the restroom. They’ve allowed me to alleviate my bladder while not being completely woken up by regular overhead lights. I’m considering purchasing more to place in my kitchen for late night thirst grabs.

So far so good! We love the soft glow of the light that illuminates but is not a bright light. Perfect for night light to see in the middle of the night or use in the bathroom without having to wake up all the way by using a bright light. It was a good price For 2 night lights. The quality on a scale of 1 -10 Is a 7. Will update if anything changes. Love that it senses that time of day it is and is motion activated.
