High quality, high output!
At first I was very happy, these lights are built well and the wire is easy to work with; no goofy memory or twists. The problem came when I turned them on and lit my neighborhood up like Clark Griswold - these things are way too bright! And they aren't compatible with a dimmer to boot. I ended up taking them down and and returning them, which is unfortunate because I really liked them otherwise. If you need to signal passing airplanes, these are for you. If you want to decorate your house on a quiet cul-de-sac, I'd recommend something else.

very bright
These are very bright. I put three strands in a gazebo and I can read out there at night. If you're looking for just ambience, you won't need many, or you might want to remove some bulbs (they do stay lit with empty sockets).

Bulbs are bright and leak
As others have stated, these bulbs are bright, which is not an issue for us. In fact, I liked that they were bright, even though they stood out in our neighborhood. We had these lights up for a few weeks and two of the bulbs stopped working completely and the interior of the bulb turned red. They had leaked and rusted. Upon further review, there were 13 light bulbs that had water inside of them, which is unacceptable. Considering their cost, these will get sent back to Amazon.

These are very bright (too much bright) !! You may want to interleave the bulbs with others or leave out. Installed outside and it looks like some hollywood movie shooting. Plan to taken down or remove some bulbs.

Well after all the work the lights are like something you see in a stadium way too bright nothing like the color in description

Strong, bright and really effectively.
The lights are strong, bright and really illuminates the area. Could have airplanes trying to land on our driveway. Great product. Should come with more 5amp/120v fuses.
