I purchased these to wear with sandals, and I am very pleased. Yes, I know, wearing socks with sandals is geeky, but lightweight 100% cotton socks feel great with sandals -- less sweaty. I got the natural color, and it doesn't bother me that a bit of the sock is exposed. At first the fabric between the toes feels a bit uncomfortable but I got used to it, a bit like wearing flip flops.

I usually don't wright reviews unless something is really great or exceptionally bad.In this case I am disgusted!Apparently, this company resells used/returned items. I ordered a pack of 3 pairs of these socks. I stuck them all in my drawer and have opened the "new" pairs as needed. Today I pulled out one of the pairs still on the cardboard (note: the soles are facing each other when packaged) when I started to pull them off I noticed the dirt! It is on both socks on the ball and heal area. Simply NOT acceptable! GROSS!update: Blue wale reached out to me about this issue and are sending replacement socks.

I was excited when I found these toe-less nylon socks! I prefer not to go completely barefoot in shoes as eventually the perspiration from feet can cause an unpleasant odor in the shoes and sandals. These were basically what I was looking for and the stockings DO create an effective barrier between the feet and shoe AND allow the toes to peek out as though not wearing a sock at all. Be aware, however, these work best with long skirts, dresses or shoes that have enclosed backs for with sandals you will see the heel of the stocking exposed. NOW... here's the Bad News. 😞 It didn't take but about 1/2 hour of wear with a 2 inch heeled Sandal and I thought my Big Toes were going to fall off from lack of circulation! Oh, how I wanted to LOVE these socks! I don't have abnormally sized feet or toes, a ladies 7 1/2 ~ 8 Medium. But the longer I wore them the tighter they seemed to get around my Big Toes. This even happened when I wore them with completely flat sandals too, go figure? Anyway... I'm praying someone comes out with a liner that is comfortable and can be toe-less (maybe heel-less too?) ~that would be my dream come true! 🤔

Most socks in this style tend, towards the end of the day, to dig in and pinch my toes - you know the feeling, like you've got a rubberband wrapped around them...ugh. These, however, stayed comfy all day and the wider band around the toes had enough give to be comfortable without moving all over my feet. They've laundered well and don't show too much with my sandals and not at all with my flats - I'll certainly order these again.
