First: THIS WILL TAKE ANY COLOR HAIR DYE OUT OF YOUR HAIR . IF YOU HAVE COLORED HAIR, BUY THE COLOR SAFE ONE.My curl/wave pattern is a mixture of 2c wavy and 3A curly. My hair is also super dry and gets frizzy easy. If I am wearing MY HAIR straight I absolutely have to blow dry it and straighten it(and use tons of anti-frizz products. And on the days that it rains or it is humid outside my hair gets super frizzy and puffy. So living in Georgia where we have very humid summers typically during the summers I have to wear my hair pulled back, or curly with a good cast to keep it from getting puffy, bc no amount of frizz ease or moisturizing hair cream helps.I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO JUST WASH MY HAIR AND LET IT AIR DRY, OR ONLY WASH AND BLOW DRY. This product has SAVED me so much time. My hair feels healthier than it has ever felt It is so soft and shiny. And I can literally wash my hair brush it and go and when it dries it is still straight and not poofy/frizzy.So far it has been about 3 weeks and my hair is still amazing!For those who said it didn't work I fully believe they did not follow the instructions and do it properly.It is a long process but if you do it properly I promise you you will achieve the results that you want. The longest part of the process is blow drying your hair after you put the treatment in. After you put the treatment in let it sit on your hair for the amount of time that it tells you which is I think like 20 minutes. After that section your hair and use a very fine tooth comb and comb your hair in sections and get the excess treatment out with the comb. Every time you comb your hair you have to use a towel to get the excess off of the comb, You want to get as much excess out of your hair as you can before you start to blow dry it ,Don't worry if you don't think you've got out enough of the excess treatment, It's fine it will just take you a little longer to blow dry it in. You want to do this in a very well ventilated area, If you don't have big ventilated areas you can do it in you can do it in a small area however I would definitely suggest taking a fan and opening a window and having the fan set up to where it sucks all of the air from inside of the room that you're in and blows it out the window. The blow drying step would be better if you had someone to help you only because depending on how thick or long your hair is it can take a while. It took me about 2 hours to get it dry (no breaks) because it has to be completely dry before you start the straightening phase. I really think people are not letting get all the way dry before they straighten it and that's probably why it's not working as well. So if you have another person that can help you I would suggest it My husband ended up coming again helping me so my arms could take a break. Also do not put anything else in your hair Do not try to put no heat protectant in or any additional conditioners. Once your hair is completely dry that's when you're going to straighten it. I put my flat iron on 450 (typically I only have it at 350 whenever I flat iron my hair) Now, This is an important step because if you do not straighten your hair properly, the treatment may not work as good. Instead of flat ironing my hair the way I normally would which is just three or four sections I actually sectioned it off to smaller sections that way I could really focus on each section. Also you're not going to hold your straightener on each section like some people do when they're straightening their hair and they hold it for a few seconds before they move it down, your going to do medium passes (not fast passes but not too slow bc if you go really slow you risk heat damage) but you're going flat iron each section, with about 10 passes so make sure you really get that treatment to work.My hair is medium thickness. The front of my hair comes down about an inch below my collarbone and the back of my hair comes down to about 2 in above my bra. I used to dye my hair a lot and I would need three boxes of dye. The amount of product that comes with one box of this treatment was plenty and I still had some left over. If you have some stubborn areas of your hair, Where you feel like the treatment didn't work as good You can always use the treatment you have left over and only put it on that one area blow dry it and Let it sit for 20 minutes and flat iron it. Instead of doing your entire head again. (It has a 6 month shelf life after open). However, If you do have long hair I would suggest buying two just to make sure you have plenty.I have fallen in love with this product so much that I have been telling everyone about it! I was not paid for my review I bought this product with my own money after doing research myself on something that will help with my poofiness and my frizz.

This product really works. I followed the instructions to a T. It seems to get better with every wash and blowdry which it states as the product has a thermal memory. I have 3b curls and the product didn’t completely remove my wave pattern which i wanted but it made it frizz free and ready to go with only a quick blowdry. For more straightening effects i suggest washing it after 24 hours instead of immediately as stated in the instructions. I followed the instructions cause I didn’t want a slick straight effect. The product doesn’t smell terrible but there was a little steam during the blow drying but nothing major. All in all! Very satisfied with the product especially for the price point. Does exactly as it claims with no false claims. It is the 3rd straightening product i try from amazon and the best one. Will be recommending it to everyone and will keep buying!

Usé este kit de alisado brasileño de Kativa por primera vez y quedé muy sorprendida con los resultados. Seguí las instrucciones paso a paso y el proceso fue sencillo, incluso para hacerlo en casa.Mi cabello quedó visiblemente más liso, suave y con mucho brillo, y lo mejor es que no tiene ese olor fuerte que suelen tener otros tratamientos. Tampoco sentí ardor ni irritación, lo cual me encantó porque tengo el cuero cabelludo un poco sensible.Después del lavado, el alisado se mantiene muy bien y noto que el frizz ha disminuido bastante. Me encantó que incluye productos para el mantenimiento y eso ayuda a que dure más tiempo. Sin duda volveré a usarlo.

When I purchased this, I was hoping to get two uses out of it because I have a short chin length, Bob, but in the summer, my hair gets frizzy, so I was looking for a way to tame it down a little for the summer. It arrived with the conditioner, having leaked in the container and it was about half gone, so I was not able to get two uses out of it after all. There are many steps to this that include drying your hair, so for me it took about half a day to use this product and it has been two weeks now and my hair is still pretty smooth so it does work.. Plan ahead to make sure you have plenty of time to devote to this process.

This product works very well in humidity, hot weather and the beach/pool. It will keep your hair sleek and no frizz at all. If by chance your hair gets wet, your curls will look like beach waves and minimal frizz. Now you must follow the instructions on the box and I would also recommend to find a YouTube video on how to apply it. Do not apply this product too close to your scalp because you may feel a burning sensation.

Loved it. First keratin treatment I have ever done. That made my 3c curly hair straight smooth and silky again. Only thing it did pull my color out of my hair. But what I did like also is you can dye hair right after as well. Wake up in morning and not having to worry about adding any heat also is a plus. I have no frizzness at all. And I live in area with humidity. And I mean high humidity and hair does not go poof. I do wish instructions were a little bit clearer on how much of an amount to use.

I really don’t know what to say here. I read all, and I mean ALL of the reviews before purchasing. And some I really wished I listened to.I’m still traumatized by the experience. I have insanely thick hair so maybe I was just trying to torture myself here. I tapped out halfway through. The smell guys.. the smell. While I was applying the product I really didn’t think it smelled that bad. But trying to blow dry and flat iron what feels like TOOTHPASTE to your hair is something they probably have POW do. The smell didn’t leave my hair for 3 weeks.. and like I said.. I tapped out after doing half my head.But I will say this.. the side I finished, was straight, smooth, and so easily manageable. Do I wish I would’ve completed it? Yeah. Will I EVER torture myself again. No.I recommend this product ONLY to those who have very thin hair and a lot of time on your hands. And maybe missing a nose.
