They are harder than the prescribed ones from the vet and the shipping cost is too high that They cost almost the same as the prescription.

These have helped our mixed breed 16 yr old rescue dog move better. Because she is missing teeth, I use scissors to cut the chunks into smaller pieces to mix into her food.

I was recommended these supplements for dachshunds who are aging and have suffered a few issues with their backs. After my old boy pinched his back enough to struggle to walk for a few weeks, we were trying to find some supplements that would work for all of them. The problem is they hate to take pills and lots of these supplements are so expensive! Not to say this one isn't incredibly expensive, because it is, but this is the most affordable I have found it.For my dachshunds, the instructions said to give 1 soft chew daily for six weeks and then reduce to one every other day. My dogs love them and think they are treats! I have been giving them to the dogs for months and haven't once had them snub them (even though one little boy is persnickety). As for the usefulness of the treats, I actually see a noticeable difference in the activity of the dogs. They are spunkier and seem to get around a lot easier in the morning (when they were stiffest). I have no problem paying this much money when the supplements actually work!

Dasuquin has really made a difference for my arthritic pug. I recently made the switch from the hard chews to the soft chews. Both pugs sort of turned their nose from the new chews at first, but now they love them. I give one of the small/medium chews to each of my pugs just before bedtime. They take it as a 'treat' and look forward to it every night.I decided to purchase the 3-pack because of the savings compared to buying one bag at a time. This will last my two pugs roughly 8 months! I think it is well worth the money.I highly recommend Dasuquin for any dog dealing with sore joints. My vet recommends this product and it has really worked wonders.

I purchased three bags of 84 chews each. The first bag was fine, and I gave one chew each to both dogs per day. When I opened the second bag, neither dog would touch them. The seller said “too bad, it’s over 30 days.” The two remaining bags were stored unopened at room temperature.

This is not a product that is anything but an additive for your dog. Cot seems high but it works.

My dogs are both very old and have problems with their legs. They just love Nutramax and it has helped them. They feel like they are getting a treat the first thing in the morning.
