No corrosion!
The black coating on the SS holds up incredibly well. After a few months of around the clock use, almost no wear is visible upon inspection even where the links rub each other. There is no evidence of corrosion despite my GSD playing in the ocean every few days and swimming in the pool everyday. Also, I have not seen any discoloration of the lighter fur due to the coating, and the longer links do much less damage to the fur than shorter standard links.

Does Save Fur
I have a Portugues Waterdog. Other collars pulled and/or cut the hair around his neck. This collar does neither.
