This product has definitely helped my 10 year old German Shepherd. I was using Connectin, which also helped, but Connectin is shellfish based,and my dog was allergic to it. She has been more spry since taking the Arthrix, even though she is showing signs of arthritis on her back end.I would have given them 5 stars, except for one thing. Their website claims that the glucosamine is not shellfish based, but the label on the bottle says Shellfish Source for the glucosamine, and Bovine source for the Chondroitin. This bothered me so much when I first received the product, I called the company. The man I spoke to assured me that the product is their special brand of glucosamine, but they had old labels hanging around, so they put them on the bottle. I suggested to him that the product be consistent with what's on the label; that they should deliver exactly what was advertised. It's almost a year later now, and they are still using the old labels that sayShellfish Source. It seems they have made no effort to amend this. 12/30/2015 I am now upgrading them to 5 stars since they FINALLY put on their label that the glucosamine is a vegetarian source.

I have ordered Anthrax Plus for my German Shepherds for several years and have always had positive results. My current German Shepherd has lower back problems, but since she has been given two chewable tablets per day, I've noticed an improvement in her mobility. And I've also taken her off a prescribed medication for nerve pain because Arthrix Plus is so effective. I recommend this product to my dog friends!

My dogs love the taste of these tablets. I have small terriers and they are not that old yet (10 & 9) , and only exhibit a very small bit of joint stiffness, but I wanted to get them started on this product early, before bigger issues arise. A similar product really helped my past terrier, so I'm sold on glucosamine and chondroitin. I chose this product because it had the added ester C, which I KNOW really really helped my sister's golden when he was old and stiff. My dogs do seem a bit more spry and I'm going to continue to purchase this product. It does seem a bit pricey, but since my dogs are small, I can split the table, so that extends my supply. I received my Arthrix quickly and it was packaged well also. Happy customer!

...and helped heal a pesky ankle injury. My 9-year old pup injured his rear left ankle a couple of months ago and the injury would not heal properly. I added this supplement to a daily regimen of dog (buffered) aspirin, and a topical application of Arnica Montana gel. Within a week, the swelling was gone and now, three weeks later, my pup is back to walking normally.

Arthrix plus has made a huge improvement in my dog's joint issues. She has been taking these for about 2 years now when the vet told us she would need hip surgery. She would struggle to get up and was limping. Fast forward 2 years and she is doing awesome. She no longer has issues getting up and no more limping. This is a Great product and dog loves the taste. She thinks they are treats.

Bought 3 bottles for my 2 dogs. Just received them and was shocked to learn that the expiry date is until Oct' 2014! How are my dogs going to finish 3 bottles in just 2 months?!!

One bit of information that I couldn't find anywhere was the size of these tablets. Let me just say that they are MONSTROUS in size. About an inch wide and quite thick. They are also hard and crumbly (like an antacid tablet) and not chewy. I have an elderly cat with severe arthritis who doesn't like cat treats and doesn't chew too well as she's missing quite a few teeth. I was hoping this would be something I could break into a couple of pieces and stuff down her throat in pill form, but I'd have to break these into maybe 12 pieces to do that. So that's not going to work.I tried crumbling it up and mixing it with some of her wet cat food, but she apparently doesn't like either the taste or the smell of the tablet, and won't touch her food once it's been mixed in. I thought this would be easier than a liquid supplement, but it's definitely not. On the plus side, my other cat likes them, but he'll eat absolutely anything. I guess he'll have healthy joints!It's probably a good product. But it might not be appropriate for a very small animal who can't chew so well.

My English Bulldog is 8 years old and has had one knee surgery.I'm ordering my third bottle of this product. She responds well to it.Because of the high cost, I've tried cheaper products. But I keep comingback to this one! I notice a difference within a week of her being offthe supplements.I'm finally convinced that Arthrix improves her mobility like nothing elseI've found. So, I will pay the price!And she likes the taste!

If you are looking for joint pain relief for your dogs i highly recommend i get free liquid from pdsa and well it relieved the dogs pain but left a smell from the back end but these do the same job if not better without the side effects hence why id rather buy anything for the dogs
