works great for driveway loop detector.
Packaging arrived in plastic bag, with paper box with detector inside. Detector does does work, but a little more thought should be put into this type shipping container.

As an installer, I'm always looking for quality parts that last. I have never had issues with EMX products. Great product with many options.

Very delicate
Despite EMX going to great lengths for surge and lightening protection, this unit is highly susceptible to lightening pulses.I fried two in one month! I think the problem is they use a microprocesser for controlling the unit. They older analog or digital units were much more robust. The feature set is great, easy to install etc. I talked to tech support. They indicated that you must have a good earth ground, which I do. So, I'm not quite sold on the unit. I installed an older digital unit I had on hand (still in box). So far so good. An EMP pulse comes in on the coil side, fries the micro processer, then shorts the power supply, and then overheats. Just my experience and hope this helps.P.S. NO warranty!!

i received the correct item on time, however i am not sure i got what i paid for ! upon opening shipping envelop i noticed the items box was unsealed and showed corrosion on the pins . the item works but is it new or used ?
