I bought this product after reading good reviews, however when a problem occurred with the item on its first use, I have never managed to resolve the case with DURONIC. The fabric shaver ripped holes in my jumper and Duronic have refused to acknowledge that this was possible. They have insisted that I have used their product incorrectly, pressing too hard or using it on loose threads but that certainly is not the case. I have used a fabric shaver before and so I am familiar with how to apply them to fabric, but the blades of this shaver took hold of my jumper and made holes time after time when I touched the fabric shaver on the fabric. It did actually rip the fabric as soon as it came into contact with it. I have contacted the seller several times and they have refused to even believe that the product could do this and will not take the item back to inspect it and test it. They haven't needed to refund me as Amazon did this when I first contacted customer services, so they have consisdered this 'case closed'. I am very upset that they weren't willing to look at photos to see the damage or receive the item back to check it over. They should never claim there is nothing wrong until the item has been inspected. But there was absolutely no customer service from the seller when a problem occurred. Given that they have refused to look into my case further, I am going to take my case to Trading Standards so that they can contact the company on my behalf. My jumper is unwearable after using this product due to the number of holes made, as can be seen in the photographs and the product certainly cannot be used on anything else. So all in all I have very much lost out here. I have an unuasable fabric shaver and a ruined jumper, and no one willing to look into these circumstances further.

Bought this after my old de-bobbler from a well-known high street name died. It's a great gadget and is very high quality and well-made for the price I paid. Unlike my old de-bobbler, there is no danger of accidentally shaving a hole in the fabric so I could shave away without too much worry. And the fact that you can use it cordless or plugged in is a real bonus (my old gadget ate batteries).The main downside is the small storage capacity for the captured lint which means emptying it several times to shave one large coat. The instructions also could have been clearer, I did not realise the second ring (the one that acts as the lint trap) was a screw top and wrenched it open the first few times but fortunately did not damage the shaver.Overall would recommend, especially for the price and value.

Well I never actually thought I would like this! I got it to fix up a dress (one my dad liked me in) for his funeral (sad times) but on the up side it did wonders!! Made it look brand new! I actually enjoyed it that much I started going through everything shaving off the bobbles and now I love my clothes again!! Who knew these even existed and worked for that matter!! Wow! Haha happy bobble shaving! Fun times ahead! X

I love by boudoir cushions but they were so bobbly and looked so tatty that I was ready to dispose of and replace. I'm very glad I didn't! This little debobbler worked a treat, it was very comfortable to hold, came ready charged and within minutes of arriving my cushions look like new again. My husband is giving me strange looks because I'm giddy with glee.It's important to renew, reuse, recycle.

This actually does work and when I first got it it said to charge fully approx 8 hours which it definitely took. What it doesn't tell you is, once charged it only lasts a matter of 5 minutes then it's dead and then of course it takes another 8 hours to charge. I got a small part done on a cardigan I wanted to do but to do all the cardigan I would have to stop and charge it again for another 8 hoursThe red light tells you when it needs charging and you can hear the item running down, when charged a green light comes on.Personally it's an absolute waste of time. I'm sending back.
