Transfers information from one thing to another
If you have a computer, which you must have to be reading this review you might want to attach other things to it. Here are some things you can use this cable to attach to your computer AND transfer information:A printer (what I use it for, AND it's been working very well and has a good length so I can move my printer around and set it up in different configurations)A camera (digital)A hard drive (portable)A palm pilotAnd so many other things!Now here are some other things you could "attach" to your computer with this cable, but they wouldn't transfer any information and would only be for the sake of attaching them:An appleA head of lettuceAn OrangeA ball of mudNightsoiland pretty much anything soft that you can push the smaller end into.So, in conclusion you can have a cheap and reliable device that can hook into the computer you clearly have and use it to transfer information!Sam

The cable is really good quality and the perfect length to save yourself trying to stay really close to your printer when you need room for any project. Sturdy connections are easy to hook up and get you taking care of business. Worth the money!

Fantastic cable for LG ultra wide!
I recently purchased a really nice LG ultra wide monitor. This puppy has USB three ports, hdmi, display ports, and even the ability to customize display settings through software on my PC.The catch?The included USB cable was too short to reach my PC from my standing desk.This cable does the job, is high-quality and durable! I have a WebCam and a USB 3.0 hub plugged in to the two USB ports on my monitor. I have many different peripherals hooked up to that hub. All of that info is being transferred back to my PC through this single cable from Startech.I have had no issues at all.
