ONOFF introduces the 2014 Red Iron. It is the latest in ONOFF's forgiving iron line up and made to serve the average golfer with the forgiveness and distance they are looking for. It features a Hi Maraging Plus face which is the same thin material used in the Red line up of fairway woods and utilities. This very thin face construction provides a very crips and consistent feel with every shot while maximizing energy transfer for easy distanance. It has a light weight stainless steel body construction with a tungsten sole that makes the CG very low on the head. Compared to the previous model, the head has been made slightly more rounded and the CG has been dropped. This makes this iron much easier to launch in the air while for that high and soft shots to attack the pins.It also features a deep undercut cavity design with the weights distributed towards the toe and heel. This helps stabolize the clubhead at impact and add forgiveness on off center hits. The deep undercut cavity also allows the face to be made extra thin near the bottom of the face, minimizing distance loss on slightly thin shots. The swing weight of the club has been set at a light (D0, C9 depending on shaft) which makes it easy to control by golfers of all strengths.
