Love this Gesso. Goes on smooth and I am able to adjust the amount for different uses. I like the pour bottle much better than the wide mouth ones. After a couple of bad experiences with other brands, I am coming back to this one. Only problem I had was I broke the hinge on the lid but it still goes on easy and stays sealed.

This is a great primer. I used it on some canvas shoes that I then went on to paint. It has a good tooth but didn't make the shoes feel stiff or heavy. I only needed one coat and a little bit went quite a long way. It was easy to draw and paint over and the paint went on smoothly. The colours stayed vibrant and dried as expected. And it's a great price for how much you get and how long it lasts.The only thing is that the gesso isn't a bright white. The shoes I was painting were white and it looked slightly yellower in comparison. This wasn't a problem for me though as I was painting over the whole shoe, but if you're planning on leaving parts of your base uncovered just be aware of that. But otherwise a fantastic product!

This is a great gesso so far. I have only used it a couple of times since I got it, but I've liked it. It has a good consistency.I'm particularly fond of the bottle, bizarre as that may sound. Previous purchased gessoes have come in flat tubs with screw-on lids and I find they are prone to drying out too quickly. I have high hopes that this will last longer as my gesso usage is fairly infrequent.

I use this for preparing canvasses and as a wet base layer when painting acrylics. It has good coverage and two coats can obliterate those paintings you dont want anyone to see!

This Gesso is a little on the thin side, so if you are priming your canvases you need to put at least three to four layers on for the canvas to not be so bumpy, apart from that nice white colour and dries quickly.

This has revolutionised my decoupage and my crafting. It is perfectly pure and goes on well. Using sponges and brushes it settles to a good fine layer. You do need 2 layers of it at least to change the way acrylic paints work.Ill buy this product again........
