The grips are a nice added feature. Probes seem to work well. One issue I had is when calibrating in ice water, the probe read 38 degrees instead of 32. Not sure if this is an issue with the probe or a user error.

I was super skeptical about ordering replacement probes that weren't oem parts. I wasn't going to have time to wait for the traeger branded part, it was back ordered with an expected 2wk shipdate. Im glad I tried these ones out! Worked perfectly! Now I have extras since my boy misplaced the original .

Received the probes right before I was going to start a cook and just plugged it in a and worked as expected! Cheaper than an actual Traeger item, and i think more sturdy.

No issues so far with connection to the Traeger silverton pellet grill control panel

Great product. My original Traeger probe gave out after a year and a half. The two that come in this order are both far superior to the original. Very sturdy and worked flawlessly. The item was also shipped very fast. I don’t usually like to purchase after market stuff. However, these are highly recommended.

If using on a trager iornwood, make sure you calibrate it first

I bought this probe a few weeks back since my stock Traeger probe was a bit messy and had been through many cooking cycles. I spent time trying to find a comparable probe for a good price and it appears I found what I wanted and needed with this probe. I will buy it again if it is still available on Amazon when I need my next replacement.

The temp read is very accurate and it fits the Traeger plug perfectly. If you leave it plugged in when the smoker isn’t running for some reason it’ll send you a “prob error” notification. Unplug it and you don’t have an issue, daily use has been flawless so far.
