BIGTREETECH 2 Types BLTouch Extension Cables + Mount Bracket Compatible with Ender 3, Ender-3 Pro, Ender-3S, CR-10, Ender 5, Ender 5 Pro with SKR Mini E3 V3.0, Octopus, Manta Series Board

This is an extension cord necessary to install your BL Touch or your CL Touch, if your sensors cord did not come with a long enough wire set to run up your wire loom and down to your motherboard connections. You also get the metal bracket, which I found myself using because the 3D printed one that I made, was too flexible made out of PLA. So, I decided to use the bracket that came with the kit. This is why I gave this kit so many stars because it fixed all my issues.

Depending on your board (I used an SKR Mini V2), and which ports you use (3 pin and 2 pin z stop replaced or just using the the probe with the Z endstop), you might have to do a wire swap on the 3 pin. For me, I had to swap Orange and Yellow on the 3 pin connector.The original wire I got with my BL Touch was short, so I had to end up soldering longer wires. The longer cable that comes with this is way more than adequate, so no complaints there.I really like the mount that came with it; I had been using a 3d printed one that put the connector side of the BL Touch too close to the metal shroud; this mount gives a good amount of distance. If you're using a stock Ender 3 v1, these offsets should get you where you need to be:#define X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -40 // X offset: -left +right [of the nozzle]#define Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -12 // Y offset: -front +behind [the nozzle]

The 1.5m cable, with modification, works and is more than sufficient to reach the mainboard of my modified Ender 3 Pro. However the wires aren’t in the correct order if you use a SKR Mini E3 V2 board. The wire colors didn’t match the cable that came with my BL Touch. Swap them so that they are in this order: Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Black. Or refer to my picture for the correct orientation. I’ve also included the old cable for reference.

I was really frustrated by the original cables with my bltouch. The shorted out and the bltouch wasn’t working. These worked really well and I didn’t see the shorting out issue either. I would like to see a different plug for the main board as vendors use a wider standard jack the narrow DuPont style connector can come detached easily.

These work as expected for my BLTouch on my ender3. Added touch probe and these helped me get the job done. happy with the purchase

The wiring was wrong and the Zstop wires brokeI had to rewire and solder some new wires to get this to work.DO NOT BUY

The good news: This cable works!The bad news: It only works on certain motherboards if you swap the wire positioning. This seriously needs to be added into the product description and I will update to 5 stars if it is done because it is unacceptable to not give this vital information - for Creality 4.2.7 silent boards on an Ender 3 or 5 (Pro), etc., you need to swap the wire order on the side that connects to the motherboard. This can be done by using a small tool that can pry the black tabs on the Dupont connector upwards so you can then pull the wires out (see image).I haven't seen any other reviews for this that are completely clear on what the wire order should be (keep in mind I am using specifically the Creality 4.2.7 silent motherboard). If you look where the BLTouch connects to on the motherboard, it reads from down to up (or from left to right in the attached image): "G V IN G OUT". The way this product arrives, the orange and yellow wires are positioned in the wrong spots, but the green wire is fine and can be left alone. Orange is the ground wire and should absolutely NOT be in the middle connecting to the V part or you risk frying your board. Swap the orange and yellow wires, connect them like how I have shown in the attached image, and you should be good to go! The black and blue connecter that goes into the Z stop arrived with the correct positioning.

Printer decided to print over my last wire. Grabbed this in a hurry. Direct fit as expected. Recommend for anyone with a bigtree board
