I own my own landscape company in Virginia and was looking for a less expensive organic based solution for selectively treating broadleaf weeds in stands of turf. I tried multiple applications on multiple properties with high hopes but ultimately was disappointed in the results. It was a mixed bag at best. I tried different mix ratios, application at different times of day, and also added different amounts of surfactant to improve the products effects. It seemed to knock down some of the broadleaf weeds but without much consistency. I had to go back to every property I used this on for additional treatments with other more expensive products. It worked best on chickweed but struggled with clover and violet. I hope this helps you in your decision to purchase.

I've been using this a while now. I have a big project- I want to kill all the grass and weeds in my yard and have landscape gravel put in. There are dandelions and an extremely tough and invasive "morning glory". I mix my solution a little stronger than the recommended baseline mix, and doing this even kills the grass, so that's a big bonus! And the customer service is fantastic. My emails are answered very quickly, and phone help is just as great. Note* If you mix it TOO strong, the granules won't dissolve.

ADIOS worked well on young growth, but did not provide the knockout punch for mature emergent growth.

Kinda works if you are somebody used to a synthetic product this is not for you

I was concerned with getting the granules to dissolve, but it's a fine powder and that wasn't an issue at all. I've had great luck with this product killing my weeds. Thrilled to have found this.

After doing some research I came across this product which is USDA organic approved and OMRI listed. It is sodium chloride (table salt) and you can feel good that you are not poisoning your kids and pets.(...)The vast majority of other weed killers that people are dumping on their lawns are simply not safe. Many of these standard weed killers rely on 2,4-D which is toxic to children and pets. Is it really worth putting your family's health at risk to kill a weed?At first I was skeptical if such a simple and safe product would work. I used 1 Tablespoon of dishwashing soap per gallon as a surfactant as the manufacturer suggested to me after I called them (increases effectiveness). There are other surfactants you can buy as well. After a couple of hours a wide variety of weeds in my lawn were severely wilting while the grass remained unaffected! My yard was completely overrun with weeds and this definitely knocked them back significantly!Does it work as good as the toxic slurries? Probably not, but it works surprisingly well for being so safe and it is all I will use! Watching my kids and pets play in the lawn without worrying is worth the higher cost vs conventional pesticides. Try it and I don't think you will be disappointed!

This product contains salt which will sterilize your soil over time.
