Good quality
It works fine, but it’s not what I thought. For some reason it’s not working perfectly with my FORScan software. There are some features that are not available as of this moment. If you want to scan your car computer or clear a check engine light, this thing will do the work. But if you want to do some more technical adjustments, I’m not so sure this version will do the trick.

Unclear Instructions, But Works Well Once Figured Out
It took me a minute to figure out what I needed to do to get it to work. At first, I couldn't get it to connect to my Android phone using Forscan Lite after plugging it into the OBDII port. The product is described as "made for Forscan," which I used. After I couldn't get it to connect, I read some of the other reviews on here of other people saying they couldn't get it to connect either. But I suspect their issue was the same as mine. So here's how I got it to work.Plugged it in to the OBD II port on my truck and followed the instructions given. Went into my phone's Bluetooth settings and connected it using the pin # 1234 as the instructions stated. Then went into Forscan and attempted to get it to connect, and it kept telling me no adapters found. So that's where I thought it was stuck. But here's what you have to do. You then have to go into the settings on Forscan Lite and click on Bluetooth. But then you have to go to another setting on a different screen and actually manually choose the particular Bluetooth adapter you want Forscan to connect to. It doesn't do it automatically, as one would expect and the vague instructions suggest. So if you're having trouble getting it to connect, make sure you not only connect the adapter to your phone using the phone's Bluetooth settings, but also two different settings in Forscan Lite app itself must be set. So three steps total. After I got it to connect, it seems to be working perfectly. My only suggestion is for this company to write better instructions.

Only good for a single use.
I got this product after researching a way to link up to a diesel truck that won't link with a normal scan tool. This one was the recommended product. So I ordered it without hesitation.Out of the box, the instructions were clear enough to follow easily and I connected to my truck. There was a TON of data available through the Forscan lite app. Did what I needed, and all was well. Two weeks later, I tried to use it a second time and it would not connect to my phone. Tried it on a different vehicle, still no connection. Called tech support and they sent me a replacement unit.Second unit wad able to use it once again, but upon yhe second usage, it again would not connect. I was willing to say that the first one might have been defective, but both did exactly the same thing. Conclusion: cheap junk. Do not recommend.

Best $34.99 I've probably spent in the last 7 years !
Used this with Forscan App just $7.00 !Vehicle 2012 Ford Escape Limited AWD V6 3.0(( In Just 42 minutes ))I was able to unpack age the product, Firmware update the device.Purchase Forscan at their website.Receive Email with activation code for the app on phone.Run down stairs....Plug Device in , Turn Vehicle Key to the 1 Position.Turned on bluetooth with phone selected Vgate vLinker FDSynced with pin 1234Opened app, connected.Reset Instrument Cluster( My Needles went back to where they should be )Reset Hvac : My A/C works now, ( fuse/relay/pressure_switch/ac_clutch ) all worked.Just low PSI for Freon ( had that Refilled a separate 20 minute process ) Success.Anything you can think of this device pretty much does it all, Reads,clears,resets,re-programs,you name it.I even updated the firmware on my radio to give me more Sirus Radio stations.Device can read all of the 25+ Modules that a vehicle has.Pcm,obdII, Parking aid, gps, 4x4 , abs , steering, ect ect.Other Thoughts: Not that it really matters, but when I plug the device in it looks up_side_down.to be expected I guess, as the OBDII port is different on all different vehicles. ( some are even sideways )Firmware Update app : Scan , bluetooth, hit yes, and you will see something about file downloaded ( i think it means to say file Received/Installed ) Wasn't sure if it worked the first couple of times, because when you hit scan it just shows you the old version number ( because of the QR code on box ) and update available. But I assure you ( check for yourself ) in forscan it will tell you the version your on haha .
