Works well
We tried this for our pit bull that has separation anxiety. It worked well. My only suggestion would be to make it bigger for larger dogs. This occupied our girl for 15 minutes before it was licked clean.

Clever Product, Honest Company
Our puppy is obsessed and this has proven a great tool to get him to focus and calm down (a big win when your puppy is 65 lbs and now stronger than you are). We had an issue with our order and the company couldn’t be more helpful in solving it. It’s clear they are passionate about their products and they genuinely care about our furry friends!

Purpose 10/10 Durability 6/10
My 8mo poodle loves her Licki products!!! Before I leave for work, I set up several toys/activities for her and this mat usually keeps her busy for around 30-45 minutes (or until she falls asleep). We can definitely attest to the soothing aspect! However, the chew resistant plastic backing leaves much to be desired. She’s not a heavy chewer but she has nibbled on the corners a bit (gotta get EVERY SINGLE snack off the mat). Maybe if they used a backing material with durability along the lines of Benebone or even stronger, it would get 5 stars. So far, the LickiMat Wobbler bowl seems to be the winner since it’s thicker, more chew-resistant rubber.LickiMat, if you’re reading this and follow my suggestion, don’t forget to send us prototypes! Maple volunteers to test them 🐶

Good quality
Whenever my 2 yr old Red Heeler is bored and needs something to occupy his time, I put some Dawg Butter on this lick mat and it keeps him busy for at least 15 mins. It is durable and doesn't come apart from the base. He has tried to lift the rubber sections and it will not pull up from the plastic base. That's a good thing because if any one knows a Heeler they destroy most toys, etc...

Sturdy and fun
After reading so many reviews, I decided to take the plunge and purchase the lick mat. My dog loves it. She’s a fast kicker, so I feel I’ll have to add more peanut butter next time in order to extend the amount of time she’s using it. I also threw it in the freezer with no issues. And so many reviews about lick mats said they’re hard to clean. All I did was soak this one in soap in water for a few hours and then run hot water over the crevices. It wasn’t hard to clean it all. I’m satisfied with the purchase, and I think my dog is too.

Not For Chewers at All - Even the tough one
One use of the Heavy Duty Buddy and my 6 month old dog chewed a hole through the corner, I had hoped it would be chew resistant but ended up being just slightly more durable than the other silicone mats shes already destroyed. A little bummed that I spent the money on this instead of another kong toy.

Separation anxiety aid
Since I discovered this product, it has alleviated my dogs whining when I leave the house. They get peanutbutter on their Lickimats ONLY when I leave, so they are now excited when I go to work instead of sad.

Trés robuste
J'ai une chienne de 20 semaines et elle arrive à tout détruire mais elle se comporte bien avec son Lickmat - utile pour des chiens qui mangent trop vite ou pour un petit cadeau pour le toutou

Good but not tuff.
Our Podenco already succeeded in swallowing a few gummies. She only gets it under supervision but in her attempts to get the food out, we saw afterwards a few gummies were gone. Not so tough…

Tuff series is definitely tougher
This is the second tuff mat I’ve brought for my staffie, if left unattended he chews it up completely, but this is 10x better than the plain rubber one, as he wouldn’t even have to try and pull off the raised bits or destroy the base so reinforced with a plastic base means I won’t have to replace them as often, he is a super anxious dog and reactive to the front door but doesn’t think twice when he’s got a mat and looks forward to one every day, nobody is more interesting than this mat covered in peanut butter and treats! If they were to design another tuff series, I’d hope they’d make the raised part of the rubber from something a bit tougher because they tear easilyAnd also the + shaped rubber makes it difficult to clean all the nooks and crannies, even in the dish washerAll in all, completely worth it though!

Good value for money
Our puppy loves this. You can put them in the freezer on hot days and it great way to cool down our puppy. They last longer than the rubber ones which our puppy would chew up if you didnt get it off him quickly. He doesn't do that with this one. I put it in the dishwasher and it washes up lovely. I havent found them cheaper anywhere else around us. Good value for money

Dog loves it
It's absolutely perfect for crate training. Slows down those little enticement feeds well without puppy ripping up blankets to get to an elusive bit of food.Giving a small amount of food to make certain areas an attractive place to be and slowing the gobbling it up process down works really well with kibble. Not really using pate etc yet as puppy's tummy is not something I want to experiment with just now until well housetrained. Can't see any reason why that also wouldn't work as a settler in crate use.No sign of chewing as it lies so flat puppy can't pick it up. Not seen any sign of wanting to gnaw the tray itself. It's all about getting that food. Definitely a good option vs a floor scatter as far less likely for food to ping into a corner that then is destroyed.Very easy to wash and it goes in your plate rack of your dishwasher very easily.
