Love it! So cool and comfy on hot days!
This shirt is absolutely amazing. The colors are a little off, so i went with white. I wanted the green one but it's more yellow than green, irrelevant I know. Anyway this is a great value, it's so lightweight and get so much airflow it makes those hot day rides way more tolerable! It's not as restrictive as heavier gear but has the same ce rated protection. So you can move around alot better, stay alot cooler, while also being protected. Can wear a shirt under it, over it, or just wear this by itself. I would get a size thats tight on you so the armor stays where it's supposed to. Just got the matching pants (which you want to order a size bigger). I'm liking this brand.

Held up well during a cement median scrape at 40 miles per hour.
Saved me in a light crash. Turning and accelerating onto the interstate and hit a patch of sand and lost traction. Scraped my left side against a cement divider for 50 feet and the pads saved me from a much worse injury. I have some road rash but surprisingly the mesh held up well. It did tear through by time I came to a stop but the pads stayed in place. I ordered another one because the ventilation in the heat is exceptional and I feel good about the protection. As others said about fit, if you’re not athletic it will highlight your pooch, but if you are slim and toned it’ll look like power ranger armor which is a plus for me and my style. $75 approx is well worth the protection and ventilation. I purchased a grey large, and for reference I’m 5’11” 180 lbs.

Fabric okay - runs one size small
so far so good, i wish the mesh material was thicker and of better quality, it feels like it’s going to rip at any hard pull while trying to put on…. IT RUNS one size smaller… i bought a large but it fits skin tight.

This full zip under jacket is also great for ice skating!
This is Hugh, Carol's hubbly bubbly. I am in my late 60s, I was looking for some extra protection for ice skating. (not ice hockey) I wanted to protect my shoulders without using full-on hockey shoulder pads. This under jacket system also has back and elbow pad(s). I like that it is so quick and easy to put on just before skating. I don't like to be wearing a lot of padding while lacing up my hockey skates. This shirt easilly fits under a loose fitting sweatshirt, jacket or Jersey. Another great feature is the pads are easilly removed for washing. There is Not a lot of extra room in the " beer gut' area. Removing the back skid pad helps it fit my abdominal area more comfortably. The full zipper shirt is also well ventilated and the stretchey material holds the pads in position very well. I can see this padded zipper shirt working well for other activities like inline skating. bicycling etc. Be Aware, these are not hard shell pads are would not be suitable for full contact sports. If you havent skated in many years, know this. Your skating skills do not stay with you for life. And the ice feels a lot harder in your 60's than it did in your teens. I hope this helps someone. PS I also wear a hockey helmet and knee pads while skating. The right gear will give you the confidence to learn or regain your skills as a skater. Good Luck. cheers

Nice quality and value for versatile riding styles
I spent a lot of time online trying to decide what kind of riding pants and jacket I wanted for riding my 1975 Honda XL250 enduro project bike (see my separate review for Wicked Stock motorcycle riding jeans). Not planning on any interstate riding, just local riding and trails and mainly in summer weather. I decided an armored lightweight shirt would be the best option for practicality, style, and protection. There is a whole range of jacket and shirt options out there. I didn’t want to spend a lot and I wanted to have elbow and shoulder protection. I came across this Wicked Stock armored shirt on Amazon and thought it would be the best alignment of my goals and budget. I just received it today and couldn’t be more pleased. I got the same size I wear in t-shirts (XL for me at 6’1” and 205 lbs) and it fits great. I read the reviews and sizing info and elected to go with a somewhat snug fit instead of a loose jacket type fit. This will also allow me to wear a shirt or jacket over it as needed. I got the black version. The only reservation I had about it, was the fact that you can see the back pad armor through the mesh. I will likely wear a shirt over the top for a more casual appearance and to hide the armor appearance. I highly recommend these if you have a similar riding style and budget.

Good purchase for him/her
I got this for my husband who is a Large but he said this was too tight. He is 6ft, 210lbs so I just kept this for me even though it is way too big and ordered him another. This comes in handy on those hot days on a motorcycle. Very comfortable, plenty of air flow and protective pads, light weight, and good quality.

Order one size up?
I’m a shoulder-heavy 5’10” 210lbs. I wear XL in everything. 44r in suits. But I ordered 2XL and it worked out perfect. It’s light enough to wear under a leather jacket. But the padding kinda makes you look like a little kid in one of those padded Spider-Man costumes.I can’t give it 5 stars because I haven’t wiped out yet. Knock Knock.
