I don't know where this has been all my life, I stumbled onto it while looking at other rapid coldbrew devices that are much more expensive and utilize a pump. When I saw this I almost overlooked it because how good could something so inexpensive be? but I'm so glad that I ended up buying it. Instead of having to wait overnight for my cold brew to be ready I can get really good quality brew in under an hour, it's pretty easy to clean and only has one exposed moving part. Brewing your coffee is super easy, just get the tornado going in the water and sprinkle in your coffee, when it's done getting your coffe out is as easy as a french press. It's basically like magic, I just wish it was a little bigger because I'm not the only coffee drinker in the house. Like the title says I bought a second one just in case anything happens to the first, but after more than a month of daily usage its holding up just fine.

A little extra prep, makes a better tasting cup. I love this! Even cheaper coffee brands taste decent. Albeit, I'm using bottled water only. Great price! I hit a sale & they even paid shipping.It's designed like a French press, except uses cold water. The electric base creates cyclonic action, to stir the cold brew. This action decreases normal cold brewing time, from hours to 20 minutes; let it swirl five minutes longer, for stronger flavor. ingenious design with the magnetic coffee basket. So far, no complaints, no problems. It makes roughly 2 cups; ideal for a single coffee lover wanting a second cup later. I refrigerate the unused portion. If you want it warm, it tastes great when warmed in microwave too.I've experimented with different grinds.The downside: using recommended courser grind, requires using more coffee to brew (2/3 cup) than what a drip maker (using hot water) does with same measurement.Wish the carafe handle was a little sturdier. I'm going to safeguard mine using foam on handle. Glass isn't very thick; use care when rinsing carafe in the sink, removing the press (with basket attached) or placing on a stone counter. A full carafe is surprisingly heavy! IMO, Carafe needs to be made with thicker glass. Otherwise great product.

This is a good product, it works well and is easy to use. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because I received an obvious used product, probably a return, instead of the new product I ordered. There was nothing wrong with it so I kept it.

I just made my first pot of cold brew with this unit. Aaaaaaabsolutely delicious. I poured a tall glass on ice, added a splash of milk, one heaping teaspoon of Allulose, and a dash of vanilla. Super refreshing for this record breaking hot day. I recommend to those who are considering purchasing this unit to carefully read the instructions over prior to making the coffee, then again as you go. They are easy to follow. If you do, you'll have a delicious carafe of cold brew practically toute de suite.One batch easily fills three tall glasses on ice, so basically with one use, you've already broke even with the cost of two similar cold brews at a cafe.

This product did not perform well. It performed as it should but not well. You can get better, smoother, more flavorful coffee out of an over night steep with one of those $20 cold brew maker’s. It was also a pain to clean, and there is no way you were going to throw away or compost the coffee grounds because they sit in about a cup of water. So it forces you to do it in the sink and potentially clogged up your sink. There are also more parts then a French press to clean Without the advantage of having all the damp grounds in the bottom for you scoop out.With the $20 cold brew maker the grains are damp so you can either compost them or throw them away you don’t have to put them down the drain.Now the flavor. Not very good. It’s pretty weak even if you do the 30 minutes. I use the coarse ground coffee that I make and you still get a lot of particles come through. I ended up having to double filter it with paper through my Chemex. Overall not a very good product end it is much simpler the better tasting use the standard overnight to 48 he method in the fridge.
