Arctic Air Hat

My husband had been wanting a hat for when he was doing yard work to protect his head and face from the intense summer sun. When I showed him the hat he was skeptical. I went ahead and ordered it. As much as he hated to admit I was correct about the hat, he loves how it keeps his head cool and loves the UV protection it gives.

I had one of these for years to use when mowing.Bought two more for grandkids that spend a lot of time in a boat fishing.Wet the top of the hat, helps keep you cool and the wide brim offers good protection from the sun.

Was not sure what to expect from the purchase of the Arctic Air Hat, but I was desperate to try something to keep my blood pressure down while cutting grass in the Florida heat and humidity. I wet the inside of the hat and placed it on my head with water dripping down. I was quickly surprised that when I went outside in the sun, my head remained cool. After cutting the grass for 45 minutes my face was not as red as past lawn cutting events. One suggestion to the company, find a thicker material to hold the water so it doesn't drip so much, which is the reason for 4 stars.

Remarkably cooling hat. My persnickety Daughter, who finds few things that live up to the advertising, came in yesterday after her first use of the hat singing songs about how well the hat was working…it really felt 20 degrees coolerAnd was definitely worth the wait for the shipping.

This hat is the best for being out in the sun. It has a reflective layer that keeps the heat off. It also has spongy material in the top of the hat. You can soak it in cold water, ring it out a little bit, then wear again to keep cool.

No cooling effect unless you pour cold water into it, then it's gone in 5min max. It's a hat.

This hat is very comfortable and has a blue material on the inside that is designed to be wet to provide evaporative cooling on hot days. It can be packed flat in a suitcase without damage. Artic Air's air cooler is a totally worthless product that does not function as advertised, but this hat is well desinged and functional. I like it so much that in case of the product dissapearing some day, I bought a second one which I have stored in my closet. It is VERY hard for me to find a hat that fits my big head and is comfortable enough to wear all day, but this one fits the bill. My father tried my hat on, and now he has one of his own.

Fantastic. I actually bought it for an older friend of mine who insists on push mowing his lawn. He used it and said it helped tremendously to keep him cool in the sun!!!! I might buy one for myself! Ty!
