I bought one of these for my son who works as an outdoor guide because I wanted him to have a high quality sleeping bag he could use on the shoulder seasons. I noticed that Western Mountaineering has a statement on Amazon urging people to be careful purchasing online because they have be seeing counterfeits brought in for warranty repairs, so I contacted them and verified that Outland USA is an authorized seller. Wow. You get what you pay for sometimes. My son came back from an early spring "guides only training trip" and said he was the only one who was warm! I was jealous of his so I bought the same Badger GWS bag for myself. It sat in my closet since I didn't really have a reason to use it all summer but I slept in it for the first time this past weekend, late October, at 7000'+ elevation in the Sierra. Oh man. Luxurious. The loft is OUTSTANDING. I will probably buy another one for my younger son at some point.
