The GCA-01C Geiger Counter is a general purpose radiation detecting instrument. It's primary radiation indicators are an audio click and an LED blink each time a radioactive particle is detected. Detects: beta, gamma and X-Rays. A 3.5mm Digital Output port on the side provides a TTL logic pulse each time a radioactive particle is detected. This TTL output may be used to connected to various digital adapters: a data logger, DMAD- digital meter adaptor.The Model GCA-01C has an internal Geiger-Mueller tube. Each uranium ore sample is radioactive and measured with A GCA-07W Digital Geiger Counter. Activity of alpha, beta and gamma in Counts Per Minute (CPM) is provided along with measurement certification. Uranium Ore samples typically have one area that is more radioactive than other areas. Measurement of radioactivity is taken from the most radioactive portion of the sample. CPM is total radiation read from sample.
