Fit my 1950's Westinghouse roaster
I have my great aunt's roaster from the 50's—and they just don't make them like that any more—and I was heartbroken when the cord failed. I did my due diligence and measured the prong size/spacing and was really worried that it wouldn't fit when I got it—I shouldn't have worried. It works great and has helped to bring even more use to an already well-loved appliance!

Perfect Replacement For Presto Perculator
We have a Presto 12 cup electric coffee percolator. The pot works fine but the plug became brittle and came apart. This is pretty common, as they are exposed to a fair amount of heat, and then moisture as there is water in the pot, washing etc. So, over time, the electric pins build up corrosion, while meanwhile the sleeves in the plug weaken from wear and tear. This combo usually ends up with a rotted out plug end. Also, people tend to store the plug in the coffee, so that makes it grab moisture as well. You can prolong the inevitable by cleaning off the metal pins on the pot with steel wool or 220 sandpaper.Anyway, when the plug finally goes - this replacement is a perfect fit. It's actually made a little better than the original. Power wise, it can handle 10 amps and is 18 gauge. It is 2 feet long, slightly shorter than the original but it works fine. The two holes are 1/2" apart, on center.

Overheats eventually
Worked on the warming plate I adapted for my smoker. Lasted about a dozen uses. Started to arc and got so hot that the contacts lost temper and wouldn't make a consistent connection.

I couldn't find one of these in any store
I went to my local hardware with old cord in hand. Clerk had never seen one. It fits a roaster that is more than 70 years old. It belonged to a neighbor when I was a child; she cooked 22 pound turkeys in it. When she went into a nursing home in the mid 70's, my dad bought it at auction. He and my mother kept it and eventually I inherited it. I still cook 22 pound turkeys in it. I have no idea how many cords my dad bought through the years, just several. I was just sick when I couldn't find a cord--this roaster is a family tradition as far back as I can remember. Now I can bake my Thanksgiving turkey according to tradition. It heated right up with the new cord!!!

Lasted 3 months.
At first was happy with the cord. Eventually, it would get really hot to the touch. There is a Philips head screw that you can remove and look at the connections inside. I took it a part one of them had completely broke. Cheap junk. It sucks there aren't many options but it's of low quality so unless you want to buy one every few months looks elsewhere.

It's the cord I needed.
It's hard to review a power cord. It's the cord I needed and it works.
