No longer hard to open
I was concerned by several reviews saying the plastic wrapper was challenging to open, but I am happy to report that these were extremely easy to open. The company must have listened to customer feedback and redesigned the wrapper. I would repurchase these.

Packaging is a nightmare but I still love them.
I just bought these because I wanted to try tampons that were organic. I love how there is no leakage but I just cant get over the packaging. The box itself is small and compact but trying to get the tampon out of the plastic is a nightmare. It took me a couple of minutes just to get it out. Im not really liking that there isn't an applicator but that is not a big deal. When I'm out somewhere these tampons it would just be time consuming to deal with.

My Fave
I’ve always liked OB. It being applicatorless may throw some people off but I like that that means less waste and more storage space in my tiny medicine cabinet and pockets.I’ve found that I never leak with this brand. I am happy that this brand has an organic cotton option.I’ve tried Cora, Rae and Seventh Generation and this remains to be my favorite. My only complaint is that OB has some intensely tight plastic wrapping which can be extremely frustrating.

100% more difficult to open
been an OB fan for years.just tuck one in your bra.decided to try the organic because that’s what people are doing these days...they appear to be packaged in the same cellophane as standard OB tampons, however, they are 100% more difficult to open.like, a normal OB tampon you drag your finger/fingernail across the branding and you find the tab, pull, unwrap - go back to being a boss.this morning i cried and attempted to chew it open.it’s not just the one. it is the entire box.i guess keep a lil pair of scissors or pry it open with a pair of tweezers.back or original OB for me.oh, otherwise lovely tampon.

My favorite brand is now organic!
This brand is hands down my favorite. Applicators are so wasteful but I get why some are not comfortable using this non-applicator style. Glad they now have organic!

Ob dropped the ball and let it deflate
I have been using Ob brand tampons and only Ob brand tampons since I first got my period. When I saw that they made organic ones, I was both intrigued and perplexed. What have I been putting in my body for the past two decades if these are advertised as Chlorine-free??I decided it would be worth the double price (note that this box only has 24 tampons) to make sure I was using the best for my body. After getting three boxes of these, I've officially decided to go back to whatever chemicals I've apparently been plying myself with for years. The absorbency of these are absolutely terrible when compared to the non-organic or what I'll from here on out refer to as the toxic tampon. The organics make it maaaaybe 3 hours before you definitely have to change them. Even then, you'll take it out only to realize that despite it leaking, the tampon is nowhere near full. Meanwhile, in my experience, the toxic tampon only leaks when the tampon has been filled first. The organic string will not dry no matter how much you attempt to dry it after you use the bathroom. Personally, I pee a heck of a lot more when I'm on my period because of the tampon and I cannot stand that string being wet and touching me while I'm walking around. The toxic tampon string would also remain wet sometimes, but would also dry if you took the time to actually focus on drying it.Everyone has said this, but the wrapper on the organic tampon is indeed harder to take off than the toxic tampon. It's not impossible or really even all that difficult if you have working fingers, but I will cede that it is harder. So much cotton falls out of the organic tampon when you go to pull the string out after unwrapping it. It makes me feel like I'm just using a squished cotton ball. Not ideal. I guess the chemicals hold the toxic one together because I don't have that problem with it.If you want to pay a lot more for a far inferior product because you're concerned about your health, then this is the product for you. I'm going to hedge my bets and decide that this one product isn't going to make a difference amongst the litany of things that are secretly poisoning me and go back to using the regular old toxic tampon.

Applicator-free tampons hard to open
These are a very affordable option for tampons, especially organic tampons. They don’t leak, and the strings don’t break when you pull it out. However, for the applicator-free tampons, they are extremely hard to get out of the plastic covering! Kora’s applicator-free tampons have a perforated line so that you can easily break the plastic away, but unfortunately the plastic on these has nothing to help you get into them. If they added the perforated line, these would be my #1 go-to organic tampon.
