Bamboo battens are never easy to clean since they can't go under water. I mostly use them with the liners because keeping them clean after using and having to dust with flour is not a simple task. It requires time and careful attention. Otherwise with the liners they work very well.

Need to be sure to properly flour the bread AND basket to prevent sticking

Bought this for my son and daughter-in-law who have begun baking bread. Thus far, they love this kit.

This is a great product but would of helped if it had directions that came with it. I was new to homemade bread making and had to go find directions.

Made the bread look good.

Didn’t come with lame or scraper, but it was inexpensive. Baskets and cloth are fine.

This a gorgeous set of baskets that not only look great hanging in my farmhouse kitchen, they make a really impressive looking loaf of bread!I've been baking bread for decades and I ordered this set to make my sourdough bread look prettier than just my loaf pan.Wow! These baskets really upped my bread game!I have out of town company this week and my bread looked amazing!!!I used both baskets yesterday and they made proofing super easy.I washed the baskets in warm, soapy water when I received them and hung them in my kitchen to dry.When I used them yesterday, I floured them lightly, placed the dough in them after the first rise and let them proof until ready to bake.The dough was easily removed from both baskets and not one bit stuck to either basket.I had 2 very lovely round loaves of bread that thoroughly impressed everyone!I love these baskets!The bread was gobbled up so quickly that I forgot to take a pic but I'll add more pics the next time I bake.You will NOT be disappointed with these baskets!I hope this helps! :)

Have now used these a number of times to make both regular and gluten-free artisan bread. Two different sizes makes it perfect for both small and larger loaves. liner is easy to clean, and if the liner is floured properly, dough does not stick. I recommend these.

Good value for this product

The bowl scraper, proofing baskets and basket liners arrived in perfect condition. The tool used to score the dough however arrived rusted with no ability to replace the blade. I will have to throw it out as it is not safe to use.

In comparison to others I've bought on Amazon these are very low quality. The bamboo was actually all frayed in the center of one of my round ones. The scoring knife is not one that you can change the blad when it gets dull.

Not terribly well made, but will do for the time being.
