I bought this recently, and using it every day for work meetings. I have set it up behind my computer, and this lights the face perfectly. The ceiling lights in the room or light coming from the windows never provide an evenly lit experience, so your face in video meetings look weird with some portions bright and others dark. This light has made a world of difference and the face appears evenly lit.I also liked the fact that the tripod stand was light weight and easy to move around and adjust height. Highly recommended to anyone who is attending lot of video calls.

Staying home during the pandemic has brought up several new use cases that require more lighting - meetings at work (sitting in a dark corner), video chatting with friends, taking photographs of the family. This tripod does it all. The remote that comes with it is very easy to pair - I have it setup with my iphone XS. The selfie camera's resolution is not great, so I set it up with the rear camera, and the setup works fine, but clearly not as intuitive, not a product fault but maybe relevant for others. Build quality is excellent, but the ring light ball holder flops around a little, not enough for me to worry about and return.I havent used it with a heavier camera than my iphone, so coulndt speak for how well it holds up against a higher weight. Overall a solid purchase, and we are happy with it.

I ordered this a few days ago.. it came a day earlier than expected. Set up was really easy.. just had to figure out how to screw the cell phone holder in properly but after I did it was a breeze. I didn’t trust using my iPhone box with the cord tho so I opted to use my iPad box since I had an extra (for safety measures). I’d recommend using a 12 watt instead of a 5 watt as well because this is a light source and you don’t want anything overheating or shorting out. The light is very bright and pictures taken with it came out nice.

I purchased this product because it seemed like a reasonable value and a flexible tool. However, the adjustment modules that allow you to rotate the ring light sideways, and the piece that the phone sits in love to move around. I don’t know why anyone would even need to rotate the ring light sideways, since if you did the whole unit would come tumbling down. And trust me— this thing LOVES to tumble over.The phone holder hangs in front of the ring light. This means that when you put your phone into it, it throws the center of gravity of the whole unit off. If you try to take pictures with the pole at full height, enjoy fidgeting with it for a good 5+ minutes before it decides to stay put.As far as the light settings go, they work fine. It also comes with a cute clicker that you can pair to your phone via Bluetooth. That gadget is the only part of this purchase I’ve been able to get reasonable use out of. I think this product is just a little ambitious... i don’t think it would be nearly as unstable if it was shorter. If you’re planning on leaving it on a desk and not extending it very often, you’ll probably be fine using it.

I wasn't too sure what to expect from this ring light but it is on par with other ones with the same size. It is easy to setup and get running. I don't plan on using it with my phone but as a standalone light it gets very bright which surprised me. The stand also uses a normal camera attachment so you can use it as a normal tripod for other things as well. I wouldn't recommend putting a heavy DSLR on it but works great in a pinch.

I got this to upgrade my videos, and WOW it does an AWESOME job! I'm not in love with how short the cord is, and at first I wasn't in love with the usb plug, but that was when I realized that this thing is a lot more portal than a normal plug!. I could potentially take it out with a strong portable charger! Great for the price and love the different modes and varying brightness
