The product makes it quicker to put your shoes on. No tying, but care needs to be exercised to not stress the clamp that holds the ends together. It tends to pop open easily if you are not careful. The elastic cord can be trimmed, but you need to allow sufficient room to move the adjusting latch/tightener without stressing the end cap. I find that once tightened then there is excess cord length so I just tuck the end cap under the shoe cord to keep the end cap from bouncing around. The one white cord I received appeared to have gray marks on it where it may have come in contact with metal eyelets so I'm guessing it was used and then returned. It still worked fine though. I bought these for my golf shoes for quick changes, but use them for my every day sneakers too. I have used it for several months now with no issues other than my previous remarks.

These are repeat buys, although from a different supplier/vendor (due to price). I love these no-tie shoelaces because they are so quick and easy to use; once you pull the strings and lock, the shoelaces stay locked (until you unlock yourself, that is).This particular supplier, however, sent me a defective end-clip (see attached photo showing one good piece and one damaged piece). Although one is damaged, it's like two being useless because they are used in pairs. It is crushed such that it cannot be used; I even tried to fix it myself but it was no use. It is permanently deformed. (I cannot imagine this small piece getting damaged like that during shipment -- all outer bags were in good shape -- I have to conclude the damaged part was intentionally or unintentionally put in the bag by the supplier)I bought this six-pair merchandise, but, one pair is useless. Four stars … it could change to five, if the supplier sends me a new replacement end-clip.*** UPDATE *** The seller, JTsn, promptly rectified the situation by sending me replacement part, and more. Excellent customer service!!! I've upgraded to 5 stars.

Just have to adjust the laces to your comfort level.

So glad I bought these! They were very easy to install and will make throwing on my shoes to walk the dog so much better! Only flaw is they didn't include instructions with the product. Not a big deal since I only had to log onto Amazon and look at the product description to find them. But maybe include a print out with the order to make it simpler. Still a great buy though!

I purchased a variety of no tie shoelaces. This product was by far the best. My children's shoes are always coming untied. They know how to tie but prefer not to tie their shoes. I have six kids. These shoelaces are wonderful! They give me peace of mind when they are out and about amongst the pandemic. It is one less thing to think about with being mindful about cleaning and wondering what the laces have touched while we were out. The shoes stay on our feet. I have been using this product for 2 months and wearing my shoes with the laces in them and they have not lost their elasticity. Thanks for a wonderful product.

I got this for my very young “86” yo mom! It was hard for her to bend over or set down an bend over tie her shoes. She absolutely loves them so much easier for her to get her shoes on. The only problem or issues was installing them, it was hard for her to do it and I tried couldn’t do it so my big bro to the rescue (took him awhile but got it). Problem solve!

I use these for my tie recreational shoes. They are easy on and off. They are perfect for wading boots as they hold well and can be quickly removed if I get caught in rough waters and need to escape. I also use them as elastic on my facemasks. They allow for very flexible use.
