A mechnical engineers perspective, it's poorly designed & unfit for purpose! (keyhole type mount)
I purchased this mount to fit below my LG CX55 for my Sony HTX8500 soundbar. Don't waste your money on this, buy a more robust one, please! The inherent design of the mount using four pieces, with the two horizontal brackets that are separate that do not mate together to provide rigidity is not ideal. I realized this before purchasing but decided to give it a go-to to see if it was acceptable for my setup due to the low weight, it was not, unfortunately. The instructions are okay that's the one positive, the mounting hardware is extensive as well.the structural rigidity of the product is quite poor, using it for a keyhole type mount is practically impossible with the included hardware, I also struggle to see how it would mount with a soundbar using a thread. One of the main issues is how the two horizontal brackets mate together with the vertical ones, they only use a thread that doesn't provide enough clamping pressure to hold the arm in the position you want when weight is applied from the soundbar (3.5kg in this case) causing it to sag, which is unacceptable. That could be solved by simply using a nut and bolt. The horizontal bars not being one-piece or able to mate together means it's also difficult to align and again contributes to the poor rigidity.I'd avoid and purchase a more expensive mount with a three-piece design such as the mounting dreams one or eono one on amazon, the design of this mount is simply not robust enough for modern soundbars.

Simple to install, but not the strongest
I have this under my Samsung 55q6 television holding my Samsung 450 soundbar. It was simple to install as the soundbar sits on the small 'shelf' created by the 'L' brackets. This isn't a particularly large or heavy soundbar, and over time, the 'L' brackets are starting to bend under the weight of the soundbar. Without the velcro holding the bar in place, it would have most definatly fallen off by now.For smaller soundbars, this is great, but for a bar with a decent weight, I would recommend something sturdier.

Not easy to install!
We have a samsung TV & Hitachi sound bar. Without going into too much rambling detail, this challenged my extremely handy & capable husband somewhat & took the two of us a good 2 hours to fix to a very almost acceptable standard. There is a huge array of screws washers etc but we had to use some other fixings we had around to complete. I'm looking at it now however & its annoying me

Great Soundbar Mounting Kit
I used this kit along with a pedestal mount (purchased separately) conversion on my TV. It integrated perfectly with the pedestal mount and allowed me to support the soundbar as if it was wall mounted so that the speakers are facing front and not up in the air as would be the case if I just laid the soundbar, on its back, in front of the TV. It really looks like a professional installation now instead of some cobble up. Brackets are not visible from the from at all so they are very unobtrusive. A very nice bit of kit.

Fiddly to assemble and flimsy for the price.
As my headline suggests, this bracket was a bit of a faff to get set up, the instructions are fine but the myriad of parts can get a bit confusing at the beginning. I was also disappointed at the quality of construction for the price that I paid (£15.99) - 50% more than the much more substantial TV bracket that it was fitted to. Having said all this, it does the job and I guess once it is fitted it usually doesn't need to be touched again.

Not great to be honest
I'm not sure if it's my soundbar, my TV or my wall bracket that was the problem but I found this not to be sturdy enough to support my soundbar.https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07QK53DCF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1I got that one instead, it's much sturdier and more effective in my opinion.

Not universal. No good for soundbars 750mm
This is definitely not universal. Had to hacksaw the ends off to fit my soundbar which is 750mm long. Does not allow for a gap at the back for leads coming out of the soundbar. Did manage to get it assembled with help in 90mins, and it is in position above my tv..i would've preferred below but the shape at the back of the TV did not allow this. Flimsy. Would not recommend.

Versatile
Can be used for mounting any sound bar to any screen or bracket/mount. Either above or below, tight or spaced away or, tilted. Easy to cut down and can be modified by leaving out parts. Full fitting kit for any size VESA standard, M4 to M10 bolts with anti vibration spacers. Can't fault it for the price.Ages 12 and up. Basically it's up market mechano for TV. Very discrete.
