Very Easy to Use...If You Follow Directions
1st I have to address the complaints of unravelling. The instructions clearly state to reseal the ends with a lighter or other heat source to prevent fraying. Anyone who doesnt seal the ends will have frayed laces. These laces are great and affordable. The reason they are so inexpensive is that they may only be 1 time use. See you will have the opportunity to cut them to your size preference and this may leave them too short for the next pair of shoes. For a child who quickly out grows shoes, this may mean you have to buy more than one set. For an adult, unless you're wearing your shoes until you need a new pair, this isnt an issue. Just buy more as you get more shoes and continue to use the previous laces in the older shoes. All in all I love them and my son loves them. He was very pleased with the color selection and plans to match the laces to his outfits in his black shoes. They can be used to add variety to uniform shoes (all black/all white). I found they are very easy to install and I was pleasantly surprised to find that you can remove the hardware when you need to take them out. I used one of the blades on my scissors to just pop it back open.

The perfect solution for constant double knotting
My granddaughter's sneakers kept coming untied. I honestly think the laces are made out of teflon because no matter how many times I'd double knot them they'd be untied in 5 minutes. Ain't nobody got time for that. I looked online for solutions and ordered 2 different types of lace replacements.First I tried the other ones. They were rubber pieces that you pushed through each eyelet. OMG horrible. It took 5 minutes using pliers to get one into the eyelet. Nope. It would have taken me almost a hour to do both shoes. It took 5 minutes to remove it and 2 minutes to set up the return. This set up is so fast and easy. You lace them through the eyelets just like regular laces, slide on the adjustable lock, trim the ends, and put on the end protectors. Both shoes were done in 5 minutes and they looked great. No more constant double knotting. Couldn't be happier.

Good, but could be improved possibly.
They were pretty easy to use. The only problem we have is the clip that keeps the ends together keeps popping off. Luckily my son has kept it every time it has happened, but if we lose one of those we will be pretty sad. I think each string should have one clip for the end. I think 2 laces is too thick for the clip and it’s just too much pressure in there so it pops easily.

Love thes!
My husband and I love not having to tie our shoes every time. Easy to slip on and off, comfortable fit of the shoes all day. Easy on and off is extremely important for aging people with mobility issues. I like being able to color coordinate with the shoes, too.

Works for kids who can’t tie shoes yet.
Put these on my youngest son’s shoes. Since he can’t tie shoes yet I thought it would be easier for him. While putting them on his shoes the clip on the end doesn’t seem to sturdy. Still willing to give them a shot. It has been a couple of months and they haven’t broke yet.

I looove these
I normally get adult ones of these. Just one of those are as much as this package. I end up cutting so much off. It's a waste of money. Reason is because I wear a size 5 womens and 3 kids shoes. So I found this perfect. As for some of the comments about not having the directions on these is correct. They don't come with directions. But since I buy them all the time that wasn't a issue.

Great value
Im regards to durability the shoe lace end piece that holds the ends together and prevents them from messing up needs some fortifying my 4 year old keeps ripping them off since they slide off quite easily (the grip and closing latch could be stronger and more roomy so both shoelaces fit without overlapping) but if your child doesn’t play with them they should be just fine.
