Fast paced and interesting
I found this just as good as the first book in the series. It's nice that different mythical creatures keep getting introduced that added spice to the tale. Sometimes second books are not as good as the first but this definitely kept my interest and was an entertaining story. My son introduced me to this series and I remember he couldn't wait until the third and final book would come out.

... to this book the third in the series and enjoyed it very much
I listen to this book the third in the series and enjoyed it very much. I wish there was a fourth book to take this a little farther on but it seems this may be the last book in the series. It seems like at the end of this one he was tying up any loose ends but there were still a few questions left unanswered. Like are there any more paladins. Where has his father went to. And what are his friends and he going to do with the rest of their lives.

Decent finish to a YA trilogy
Rogue finishes off the YA trilogy Frost began which combines bits of James Bond, no, Alex Rider , and the supernatural. The premise follows the set YA (chosen heroes tasked with saving world) trope but it manages to keep things fresh (at least for me) by including the supernatural elements. If you thought that the mind-reading, force walls and scream-attacks would cease after the middle slump, you'd be wrong. In fact, the supernatural hijacks the entire series.I still feel like there should be two hundred pages (judging based off of book one's length) that we are missing. I liked the depth of level of description of book one. We really lose that (definitely in book two and slightly less in book three). The characters are certainly distinct in their machinations. Although I found one's (Nick) faults to be so overplayed and annoying. It wasn't until much later on that he started thinking like the strategist he was supposed to be and begin redeeming his character. Shame.I thought that the trilogy as a whole is a solid YA. While it does bring new themes to my table, it doesn't change up the formula too much. I'd give the trilogy a solid 3.75 as a whole (accounting for what I see as a lack of some vital descriptions, a few loose ends left loose, and the slumpy middle book). One of the reasons that I am hesitant to write this off as merely a trilogy is because of the loose ends left unanswered. Granted, not every story needs to end with an epilogue of the characters after all is said and done, but a little closure would leave readers from anticipating a fourth novel down the line.Mild character spoilers (from a character not related to book 3. Tread below at your own risk). What happened to Nando? It looked like he was actually going to end up PI'ing for Will, but we saw neither hide nor hair of him. Not even a casual mention by the end. That miffed me a little more than it probably should.Anyway, it was a decent YA trilogy. Deals with some unique themes, but familiar YA tropes

Great series...please keep them coming and keep developing new abilities.
My 11 yr old son and I both love the Paladin series. However, I love Mark Frost even more. I read "The List of Seven" when I was in high school and it really spurred by love of books. That book and Grisham's "The Firm" solidified a lifetime of finding books to escape to when I needed a break. Reading is still one of my favorite things to do and the Paladin Prophecy is a great series to delve to invest time. The characters are great and the story is good. It's not meant to be a great literary tale but is a worthwhile endeavor. Thanks Mark and please keep them coming.

Amazing boom
This book was better than the first two, I can’t begin to describe how sad I am that it is over, but it was very good.

But already feeling disappointed that it is ending
I am not finished reading Rogue - about 25 more pages to go. But already feeling disappointed that it is ending. This book started with GREAT momentum. I truly have loved all 3, and do NOT want to see this series end. I hope Mark Frost will consider writing more of these.. and continuing all the story arcs.Fantastic series. COULD NOT PUT THESE BOOKS DOWN. Mark, you are a most excellent writer!!!

Want more from this series
It didn't tie up all the loose ends but gave me a satisfying conclusion to this story well leaving it open enough for more, if Mr. Frost ever decides to pick it up again. The action maybe felt a little one dimensional as it was just hit after hit that the characters had to endure and there was very little development of the characters from where there were in the first two books. Overall a good read and I feel a must read for anyone invested in the series.

10/10 series
Alright, the ending of Rogue wasn't the best, but everything else was the most amazing thing in the world. I know Mark has the movie coming out eventually, and I'll be waiting in line for it, but this storyline doesn't have my permission to end just yet. Maybe if there was another book to come out for the series, or a new branch-off series, they both would be amazing but Mark can't end this yet! Please!ðŸ˜
