Bonsai for Beginners Book: Your Daily Guide for Bonsai Tree Care, Selection, Growing, Tools and Fundamental Bonsai Basics

Although it has an attractive cover, the inside of the book certainly doesn't live up to it's claim as a Beginner's Book for Bonsai. The information in the book is too vague to be of any real use to beginners. It should have been much more detailed explaining the environmental, growth, and care requirements for common Bonsai plants. Their are too few pictures in the book. It doesn't show you any sketches of what the Bonsai tools look like or pictures of the most common plants appropriate for Bonsai gardening and show the reader how they are used. I would give it no stars if I could. Don't buy this book!

I tells you almost nothing. It is more of a pamphlet on kind of what is bonsai without offering any in depth information. It is no help at all. Do not buy it.

Not a single illustration or photo. Authors very enthusiastic about growing and caring for various varieties but no examples are provided. Having lived in Japan, I have an idea of what the tools look like, but there are not sketches or photos.

This book was very very brief and didn’t include any helpful information that you couldn’t just Google.

Seems very basic, I haven't had time to get supplies together yet, but it looks self- explanetory.

Vague, not terribly helpful, full of basic editing errors. Most of this could have been gleaned from an hour of searching the internet. This is a Wikipedia-level overview with no real resources for further exploration.

I'm not a beginner, so I'm giving it to someone who is. My mistake. It is a good beginner's book.

This may be the most useless piece of trash written since who knows when.This, I would recommend to no one ever.

A very informative book for Bonsai Beginners like me. Bonsai information is a prerequisite to starting with Bonsai Trees. I've successfully grown Chinese Wisteria and Japanese Cherry Blossom. I now have Bouganvillea cuttings starting. A great hobby!

Good book for beginners. Should really have pictures to describe the various / basics of caring and tending to a Bonsai Tree. The pictures would help tremendously in the explanations.
