Fantastic mic on guitar amp
This is a great mic. I routed the signal through a tube preamp to record a stereo guitar rig. I put this mic in front of my 100 watt guitar amp and it hands down sounds better than any other 58 (or 57) clone I've ever used WITH NO EQ OR COMPRESSION. Buy more than one of this mic right now.*UPDATE*These mics are now my go to mics for toms, kick drum beater, and guitar-thru-bass-amp (think very mellow fuzz machine). It handled my snare drums well too, but I always have an Audix i5 for snare top side. It's fine for snare bottom, but tbh these mics look awesome in the studio, they have this blue chrome finish, classic chrome grill, and a center band in electric blue, so if you're like me, you'll want to show these off. These mics photograph very well.I have a maple 14x9 rack, 16x16 and 18x18 floor toms--these mics are perfect for them. They're just warm enough to not really need eq'ing. Plenty of gain, and clear as crystal glass.

Good entry-level dyn. mic.
I bought this to upgrade my pandemic-era video conferencing setup. This is a fairly typical dynamic mic (in my limited experience.)-It has decent background noise rejection.-It requires high gain on my amp (Behringer UM2) compared to a condenser mic.-It has good reproduction at voice frequencies, less so a high freq.-If you don't have a stable place for a stand, a shock mount is important.

Very heavy, good quality build, great sound - but a bit sensitive
I love this device but it is a bit sensitive to my room environment and captures breathing through the microphone. Through my Scarlett solo (gen 3) and with OBS I had to crack my Gain up +12.70 dB and play around with the Noise Gate to get rid of of unwanted noise and hissing/static (which can be a pain to set up).

Top Class!!!!
One of my most satisfying purchases of 2021. I'm in love. This thing is well built and sounds amazing. If you use mics, even if you have the industry standards and or even the higher end mics it wouldn't hurt to get you a few of these. You wont regret it. I'm getting a few more!!

You can't touch this
Ok microphone if it is going to sit on a stand but DO NOT try to handle this mic. The handling noise is absurd. Makes it completely useless for live performance. No idea why it now costs $31. It was barely worth $19.

Good sounding mic as long as you never touch it
A pretty good sounding mic for the money, but the handling noise is pretty horrendous. Which makes it a handheld microphone that is very hard to use handheld. The XM8500 is cheaper, better with handling noise, and has more plosive filtering foam in the grill. I'll just be buying those from here on out.

Great Sm 58 Knock Off
Compared to the Shure it sounds very similar with a little less output, great for the price, Great for Practicing or Gigs, I did NOT like it for recording . 5 stars all the way for the Money
