Does a good job, does it easily, even with wimpy wrists.
Okay, be warned that I bought this for ‘when needed’ and it’s not something I use several times a day. So, with that caveat:It’s a good, solid product! Could double as a home defense weapon. Frankly, I was shocked to have a staple just slide into my ~ 70 leaf report without the slightest jarring to my wrists!PROS:• It does what it is marketed to do.• It does it well.• It’s a heavy duty stapler, there isn’t much else to say. (It is charming and well mannered, but that doesn’t affect its primary function.)• The seller / developer is AMAZING at customer service. You will not have to chase this one down, if there is a problem.CONS:• A super small thing, but the little movable paper guide seems like it might break easily – it wiggles a bit and seems delicate. For me this is no problem, I know exactly where I want all staples to go, and I can’t imagine ever moving it.• I have had one staple go in oddly, crumple, have to be redone. Pretty sure that was operator error, as I was rushing, but since I don’t use it a ton, full disclosure requires that all data be accounted for.

Works great!
I noticed an employee of one of my clients fighting with a regular stapler as she tried to staple many pages together.I asked her if she encountered that often, or if stapling many pages was few and far between. She stated it was pretty often. I bought her this heavy duty stapler as a kind gesture to make her job a bit easier. After her having the stapler for a couple of months, I saw her at my client's location and asked how it was working out for her. She stated it was working great and she used it often, and that it did make her job a bit easier!I was also pleasantly surprised to get a handwritten Thank You card along with a letter in the mail from one of the co-founders of the Onotio brand....Impressive! While thanking me for the purchase, I was asked to leave a review, and to please let them know if I had any issue with the order or the product.Keep up the great work and products, Onotio!

Finally!
My routine complain was: We are sending men to the Moon but we don't know how to make a stapler.I have searched a right stapler for yrs and I almost gave up.I went through ALL Amazon heavy duty staplers. I compared price/performance/etc.I ordered Swingline one before this and I had to return it same day because it jammed 35% to 45% of usages(even with their staples)So I searched again. I compared almost 20 products.I think I finally found one this time. This product is very simple and sturdy. Easy to use. There is a bonus too: the customer service of the seller is extremely excellent.Really nothing to lose to try!You can't find(or very difficult to find) this quality of product at this price!Or you have to make your own.

An Unstable Stapler
The metal parts of the stapler seem to be built well. However, the rubber bottom piece is very cheap and worse than useless. It seems to be too narrow for the stapler and slides off to one side causing the stapler to rock side to side when pushing down to staple. Sometimes this causes the papers to NOT be flat when the staples go through which results in a "bubble" in the paper between the staples (where the bottom sheets might be flat and the top sheets might be bowed between two staples). It staples better when the rubber piece is removed. But without the rubber it slides around while stapling. And then there's the depth stop which is supposed to have a detent to lock it in place. It works - sort of. The center of the depth stop locks in place but the stop is about 1.5" wide and it rotates around the center. This makes it easy to staple crooked if you count on the stop to be parallel to the staple. It won't always be parallel.I'll live with it but should have spent more on some other brand.

This stapler does what it is designed to do
I have some thick items to stapler. This stapler works perfectly doing the work it was designed for. The stapler came with heavy duty staples with 1 inch long feet. Thsi was too long for my purpose. I ordered heavy duty staples with 1/2 inch long feet and it works perfectly. Heavy duty staples are thicker than regular household staples. Being thicker they hold tighter. I send out items in plastic bags, usually several bags. regular staples did not hold the bags in place. I put a piece of cardboard the length of the bags under them and a small strip of cardboard on the top to staple through. One heavy duty staple holds everything in place for mailing.

First time user
I'm a Real Estate Broker in need of a heavy duty stapler for Home inspection reports and final full contracts without the added bulky spring clip. This has to be the answer to my dreams BUT beware... I just got this stapler today, out of the box there are NO instructions and a note to go to a website to watch a 60 second video BUT there was no such site. I returned to the Amazon site only to discover the video here, problem solved.. The stapler is all metal except for the adjusting paper length "thingie" that worries me since is slides too easily.. That extra tool included is not identified but guess it is a stapler remover. Overall it looks like it will work for my needs

Improved build quality!
My first impressions about this stapler were mixed, and I contacted the seller with a simple query: why couldn't the stapler staple a 96 sheet document when it is rated to staple a 130 sheet document?I was contacted by Sharon who offered to help by sending a replacement. It turns out that the stapler I originally purchased had some manufacturing defects; the one I got as a replacement works excellently. I have been able to staple all the printouts and documents that the first stapler could not staple. Moreover, I am very impressed with Onotio's customer support and follow-up.Another nice thing is Onotio's own staples, which seem to work a tad bit better than Swingline's staples. I highly recommend this stapler. Note that if you have any difficulty getting it to work, you should definitely give constructive feedback to Sharon and the folks at Onotio, because they seem very committed to improving your experience and making your purchase worthwhile. Please support them!
