Dental Health Probiotics with Vitamins - Fights Bad Breath, Plaque, Dry Mouth - BLIS K12 M18 Strains - Dentist Recommended Sugar-Free Chewable Supplement

So, I have been fighting with tonsil stones for years. Post nasal drip & allergies drive me up a wall every day of the year! I was skeptical about whether this could help and hadn't seen a lot of reviews till after I ordered that addressed tonsil stones (tonsilliths). The first two nights, can't lie, it was hard to chew this. It tasted absolutely terrible. Like bread that had gone bad and then been flavored orange & milk.. just gross. By day 3 though, the bugs were doing their thing. I'd already had 2 small tonsil stones break off. when I took for the 3rd time, something magical had changed to my taste buds! Now it only tastes mildly odd / yeasty and you don't even notice it much. I've taken it for over a week now, only at night though, once a day feels like a good level for me. Still having tonsil stones breaking off about every other day and I know that my teeth feel cleaner regardless of what I've been eating. My breath seems less toxic, though I've yet to bug someone to tell me otherwise. I'm also in the full on spring allergy season and I *think* it could be helping with my ears??? not sure but I do feel better about it now. Give it a couple days though. I'm also curious about whether taking it too close to brushing teeth makes it less effective... some nights I feel like it's not as effective. Seems like the good in my paste might be fighting with the good in the tabs.

My 2 1/2yr old has ASD. He's not severe actually VERY high functioning but due to ear issues is nonverbal & get frustrated easily. This does what it's supposed to do & I have NO problem with getting it in him. It tastes good & works even better. With everything his little body is going through this is a must have in the house. I used to use Nature's Parade but these have an additional strain in them that those don't & helps with his teeth. He needs that since he has the last 2 of his baby teeth coming in. PLUS the cost is much more budget friendly now that I am staying home to care for him, get his therapies done, doctor appointments, etc. I loved the other product but find these are working much better which makes a world of difference. I'm sticking with these.

I have tried many dental probiotics and this is the absolute best. It has a blend of vitmans and probiotic strains that other brands do not have. I had been struggling with sinus yuck and dental biofilm for years, the upkeep for which required a full court press. I tried literally everything. It was so defeating. With this product, within the first day, my sinuses cleared, my breath was neutral all day, and my mouth was not dry. When I ran out a few days ago and missed a day or two before reordering my problems started again, so I know it is this product that is making the difference.

This is my first purchase ever of a "chewable probiotic" targeted specifically towards dental health. I've taken 1 tablet a day for the past 2 days after brushing at night. There's no way I can really praise or complain about the effectiveness on my oral health of a product I've taken for just 2 days. But I still would like to throw out a couple of my initial observations about this product that can be taken into consideration for future purchases.1) Taste - some reviews I have read complain about the taste and how horrible it is. The taste seems okay to me. I think some people over dramatize the taste. It's not really the main focus of the product. If it keeps me from losing all my teeth to periodontal disease then the taste is really the last thing I care about. But again, I don't find it so bad to use as a reason not to purchase this product.2) My single gripe at the moment is how small the tablets are and how quickly they seem to disappear in my mouth. I feel like this is being done on purpose to get consumers to eat more than they really need so that they can repurchase the product more frequently. They're about the size of an aspirin. They grow these bacteria in a petri dish in a lab (I'm guessing a bit here) but bacteria split and multiply infinitely to my limited understanding. It can't cost all that much more money for the manufacturers of these products to give us more foot soldiers (so to speak) to go to battle for us against the bad bacteria in our mouths. These tablets seem to dissolve almost instantly, just like cotton candy. So, I think the tablets are very small on purpose to milk the customers. I'd like to still be chewing on these after a couple of minutes, not for a couple of seconds.I'm not sure I'll buy these again just because of how small the tablets seem to be for me personally. But I can't say never again for sure. The bottom line is the report from my dentist and whether my oral health improves or does not improve.I'll update my initial review when I have used this product for a longer time and I have more information.-----Update November 19th, 2017-----Well, I just finished the entire bottle. I took 1 tablet every evening. I have no real proof of confirming how good these are. But my instincts tell me the very small size of the tablets are something to be concerned about. I feel like they're small on purpose to milk me for even more money. At $15.00 a pill for some bacteria that can be multiplied by the millions in a petri dish I still say the tablets should be double the size they are. So, in conclusion, this was the first bottle of oral pro-biotics I ever purchased and I will probably look for a different brand that represents a better bang for my buck. I'm not thoroughly impressed but I really have no other products to compare it to me from experience. So, it's time for me to change that and see what else is out there that might be better.

It does help only partially short term. I later found that the source of the sudden onset of my foul breath was tonsil stones. Now, I take preventitive care using a syringe and mouthwash and I have fresh breath all day and hardly any morning breath too.

This version of dental probiotics has the most strains in any dental probiotic I have tried, and also seems to be the best value. I've noticed all the dental probiotics are the same in regards to the 2 BLIS strains and the CFU count. This one however adds vitamins and other strains which are beneficial. I think this is the brand to stick with if you are looking for an oral probiotic. It's more expensive then traditional probiotics, but you are paying for the particular BLIS oral health strains. The taste isnt bad either. Not good, not bad, not strong, fairly neutral. Easy to take.

Noticed quite a difference this summer and fall with improvement in my allergies.

I have been taking this probiotic for a week now... and my whole GI system is back on track.Happy to have it.
