What a difference from a different camera I purchased
The media could not be loaded. My husband and son like hunting out back in our woods. I purchased this one after having a purchased a different camera just last month. Instructions were very thorough and camera was easy to set up. Liked the fact that you can set a security code. Not worried about having it outback of our place; but, we may get another one for a separate property and it will be nice to leave it there. Couldn't believe how many more options this camera offers. It captured consecutive photos as deer walked through. It seems to be very sensitive as far as the motion sensor. After having it outside for one day, it captured 33 images/videos. The pictures were very clear. Records the outside temperature (didn't realize it did that until viewing the photos). The one thing that I don't like is the hinge seems a little bit flimsy. You want to be very careful opening/closing the case. All in all, I think I got the right camera.

Great video and sensitivity for the price with some corners cut probably to meet the price point
This camera produced amazing night and day video at 1920x1080. It came with a stand that, once assembled, allowed me to set the camera on the ground and point it at whatever angle I liked. I set the video time to 20 seconds whenever it was triggered and was happy. I can imagine that most people will need to try different settings to get things set in a way that works for them. So, don't expect the results to be exactly what you want immediately. While I can't prove it, I felt the camera triggered at any time an animal got in front of it. Sometimes they would come up and sniff the camera, so I know the focal length works either close or at about 20 feet at least and probably more. The nut designed to attach the adjustable framework (not a tripod, but it does the same job) to the round platform came loose very easily time-and-again. You will want to use threadlocker and pliers or a socket wrench to torque it down and make it stay. The controls all feel a little cheap. My biggest concern is the latch for the waterproof door covering the video screen. It hasn't broken in two days' use, but I think it's a matter of time. Once it breaks, I might use a zip tie when I want the door closed tight.I did NOT try strapping it to a tree. The strap is about a meter long, so the tree would need to be reasonably skinny. You could buy a bigger strap. The biggest complaint is the batteries. It's a little tricky to get the tray to eject. Press hard on the release button. The tray is spring loaded. It takes 8 batteries. Over night, a half hour of video was recorded in a 12 hour period. The battery meter shows the batteries are half gone. If I were going to use it a lot, I would look into investing in 16 rechargeable AA batteries and a charger for 8 batteries at a time. You can use an AC adapter (not included), but I'm not excited about running a cord out to the unit. When I bought it, I was concerned it was limited to a 32gb memory card. That gives about an hour of recording time at 1920x1080. Since it only records "action," that's enough for a night. The whole hour would probably drain the batteries completely. The unit plugs directly into a computer with the included USB cable. The USB connector is two generations old. So, no usb C or micro usb. This one is mini usb. If you don't have a bunch of old usb phone cables laying around, don't lose this one.The most annoying part of the device is that the built-in video screen is very low resolution. It's enough to confirm that, yes, there is an animal (or your own legs) in the picture. But, the date/time stamp is a complete blur. If you owned a digital camera in the 90s with a 1-inch screen, you maybe have an idea of what this one is like.Overall, for the price, this device is a great buy and really does a good job. Corner-cutting on the controls, screen and latch as well as the lack of included batteries and memory card gives me the idea that they worked hard to produce a device with a higher level of video quality and sensitivity at a sub $100 price point.

Superb Accuracy and Excellent Value for Money
From opening the box this camera was a real surprise - although the setup manual looks long it is detailed and easy to work through. More detail is better than less. The camera also featured recording of ambient temperature and moon phase for each recording - which is a real bonus. The water-resistant build of the camera is robust, the fitting hardware provided allows for a number of setup options. Choice of image resolution and video length is intuitive and easy to set up. I would certainly recommend this product for a range of environmental monitoring, semi-professional and hobby applications. Very impressive product!

Battery Tray Won't Latch
Because the battery tray won't latch, the unit will not stay powered up. Poor design.Replacement unit latches properly. Updating rating. Daytime images are very good--night are pretty fuzzy. May need to play with settings more to get clear nighttime images.

Great camera at a great price
I didn't want to spend a fortune on a first camera, but the reviews on Amazon showed this to be a good, reliable unit. Since I received it, it has done nothing but exceed my expectations! I tested it out in my backyard - very easy to set up, directions were clear and well-written, easy to follow. The shots of deer about to eat the hosta were great!! Night vision was clear! This camera is well worth it! IU am very happy

Worked great for about 14 hours and not a lick since
Right out of the box, it looks like a quality product, built to survive the harsh elements. The picture, video, night vision quality was excellent for the 14 hours that it worked. I gave it 1 star overall because, when I put the batteries and sd in for the first time and turned it on, the LCD screen said, "usogood", on a black screen and the unit just clicked. I ejected the battery box several times to check polarity and voltage with multimeter. I finally got the unit in setup mode by accident, sliding the on/off button up and down. I did setup and slide button to on. It stayed on and I mounted to a tree overnight. We got the good pic, vids that night and I turned the unit off to remove sd card. I have not been able to get the camera to come back on since. All I get is, "usogood" and a rhythmic ticking. My wife threw away the box and paperwork, (OCD kicked in), almost right away so, it wouldnt be fair to return it naked.Tried to contact seller, move on to another seller and buy from this one.

Quick easy setup.
My first one was faulty, but Usogood came through with a replacement TC50 Trail cam. Service was great and quick. This camera is much easier to program and use than my previous trail camera. I have only used the lower resolution settings and the picture quality is good enough for my purposes. Battery life is great compared to others that I have. I like that you can set a target time so that you don't waste batteries and memory space on unwanted bipedal animals. I like the small door on the front of the camera. These are inexpensive enough to get more for better coverage.
