If you are sick of shelling out big bucks for junk, you can rest easy with this thing. It's simple to put together (took me about an hour, but that was with distractions - pay attention and you can have it done in half that time). It is very sturdy; in fact the chair bolts are so long and fit so tightly I'm pretty sure it would withstand the house falling on it. It's a very attractive design. I did not attach the bulletin board as we didn't really need it and I was afraid it would get battered (note that it can't be removed once stuck on). The price is not bad considering the quality and the fact that you get very nice matching chair. If you saw this in a furniture store for this price, you'd snap it up, and it doesn't have a cheap flat-pack feel to it. I can't speak for the other colors but the pink is classy and muted, neither bubble gum nor Barbie. It's a good fit for my small five year-old with plenty of room to grow. I'd buy from this company again for sure.

I bought this for my son’s room, it’s a beautiful desk, very sturdy, with a lot of storage. After 4 years, I am taking it down today, my son outgrew it and now wants a gaming setup. I am so sad.

My daughter wanted a desk for school work, this one hold all her supplies and is a good size for elementary age kids. Glad I was able to find something moderately priced, nice finish and it’s very sturdy.

Got this desk set for our daughter for her 7th birthday. It's perfect! The color is so pretty, and I love that it comes with the matching chair and hutch with bulletin board and all the useful compartments. It's a great size for her and I think it will be for at least several years (I'm 5'1" and it works fine for me). It seems sturdy and well-made. My husband put it together in just over an hour...he said the directions were clear and parts were well-organized. Our daughter just loves it and was so excited to start decorating it and setting it up with supplies. Would definitely recommend, and I think it's a great value for what you are getting.

This desk has easy to follow instructions and do alone. My only complaint is the particle board that the cork board sticks to-is worthless. I can see that coming off in the future-there’s no way any tacks will work and it is flimsy.This product, obviously, NEEDS to be finished correctly. Hang with me-I don’t know what they are called. The drive anchors with a cross on them must be on right. After my own failure before finishing (and reading the bad reviews on this desk)-we all have one thing in common and it’s absolutely consumer error. Those of us who complained about it being a bad desk-didn’t install those things correctly. If it’s wobbly when you finish-it’s not a crap product. You just didn’t do it right, so give it another go before stopping haha I hope that helps and makes sense!
