Easy to use and worked
I never did an ultrasonic before I used this gage, but it was easy to use and worked well.

Keep the probe clean and it awesome
It’s simple to use and navigate. I’ve used this on iron,glass,stainless steel & steel. It consistently gives me readings to within about.001 to .010

I've had this for a year and use it for checking the thickness of discharge pipes on irrigation wells. The readings are sporadic and unreliable. After 12 months, it quit working reading completely. I'd highly recommend purchasing a different product.

The device had good reviews and the price was a concern. I tested it and it worked as advertised easy to read has a nice case to store in .

Cheap but not easy to use
It’s a pain to use. I check cylinder wall thickness and it’s very inconsistent. Gel has to be used liberally for it to read.
