7" screen does not cover head unit
Updating this a few months later and downgrading from 3 star to 1. The trim on the screen has turned brown from exposure to the sun. Youtube doesn't work, Netflix doesn't work. Notifications from most programs like google voice and gmail don't work unless you open the program everytime you turn on the car. Certain programs will always start everytime I turn on the car and over ride what ever was open before. It constantly forgets which program is my default nav program and I have to reset it.My biggest issue with this unit is the screen does not cover the head unit. You can see the ugly metal frame and screws on either side. There is no trim that is supposed to go here either. At least according to the manufacturer. I contacted them and they keep saying I didn't buy the correct unit for the hole in my dash. That makes zero sense. Like I said the head unit is wider than the screen.The second problem is the capacitive buttons on the left of the screen are extremely unresponsive. It takes several tries to get them to work every time. Luckily I have steering controls to fall back on.There are some good things though. The unit boots basically instantly. Much faster than my previous android head units. Overall speed of the system is good too. The sound quality is great as well. Screen resolution is the best I've seen on these units too. The launcher app that comes installed is not great(all of the android head units seem to have this issue). I installed Nova Launcher Pro and all is well now.

Joying 7" single din unit 💯
Wow this Joying 7" single din is amazing! I own a 2002 Chevy Avalanche and it has the 1.5 din stereo. I shopped around for months for a 1.5 din unit and they don't exist. I needed something for a backup cam and great sound quality. Didn't want a motorized flip screen because of it hitting the shift lever and the screen motors don't last long. Finally I came across this Joying head unit. Read the reviews and Youtubed it and learned this company has great customer service and have nice well built products! So I purchased mine, installed it two days prior to this review and I am very impressed! This unit is responsive no lag at all, incredible loud and clear sound, the integrated mic can hear me from the back seat clearly and feels nice and solid in the dash. There unit can do so much, it's like having a computer in your dash!Will update on the longevity of the unit in time. But so far I give a 💯!

Good unit, don't expect SIM card usage in the US.
It's a great unit, my only complaint is that every modern band that any major carrier uses in the United States is *not* supported by this unit. You can't throw an AT&T SIM card on it and put a 4G data plan on it. It won't connect. Just wanted it on here so people will know that and plan accordingly.

Great option when double din won't fit
The perfect option when a typical double din unit wount fit. I wanted a back up camera in my truck for many years but didn't want to cut up the dash to make it fit. Basically an Android tablet in your dash.
