Q: Do you soak the wood wick before use?

I soak the wood wicks for about 15 minutes in olive oil to condition them first and allow them to dry before using. They burn well, great value.

Q: How thick is the wick? (not asking about width but how thick?

Not very thick but enough to get a perfect candle burn.

Q: How big is the flame when using 2?

I was wondering the same thing because I make all different sized candles. Plus I feel like using two wicks per candle is a complete waste. Yankee candle only uses one in most of their large candles and it gives the perfect amount of scent. Also in the description of these wicks, it states to use two wicks so the candle doesn’t “combust” I’ve never heard of this happening before. So either they’re wanting us to buy and spend more money or they have no idea what they’re talking about.

I had issues with this too. If you only use one stick it’s hard to stay lit. Best to use 2 to keep a better burn
