This was a great read. A little dark but also sweet. The author did a good job writing her story and it was enjoyable.

This was a quick fun read that sucked me in from page one. While it sucked me in, it felt like the climax came and went wsy to soon. Otherwise it was a good book.

This was a good light read. I enjoyed the characters. I also enjoyed the story itself. The story had a few holes but I don't think it was designed to be studious reading.

A mind-blowing romance story that will grab your from the start. Andrea is trying to start over. Her brother Bobbie asks his best friend Andy for help in keeping an eye on her; just in case her abusive ex, Dennis, shows up causing trouble. This is a beautiful story about how one scarred woman can make one man fall to his knees and cherish, love and protect her. Andrea changes Andy for the good. Very good book I enjoyed it

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC but I also bought it. Mia Ford is generally a one-click author for me. I’ve never disliked a book of hers. This book is not a favorite, but it was a quick read with some sweet parts. She tackled the heavy subject of an abusive relationship with delicacy. This is why I think the insta-love between Andrea and Andy could have happened, if you read his back story. I do agree with the reviewer that felt ‘the ending did not completely resolve most of the conflict’. I also felt like it was a happy for now even though Andrea and Andy had been together for 3 years and were thinking of children! What more did she want??? Not sure I liked her much. And why move Bobby to LA unless there’s a book about him coming up???? I like Mia Ford a lot. Her other books are amazing. This one is a good read.
