I've only had this new battery for a week, but have been using it every day for the whole week. It seems to work very well, fits and charges normally with the Dyson wall charger., and runs very strong. My vac is the Dyson Motorhead V6We'll see how long it holds up, and if it's actual Sony batteries in this unit like they say they are. If they are cheap chinese knockoff batteries, I expect this to fail within the year. Will update this review then, good or bad. But for now, I'm giving it 5 stars.

I should have purchased this battery long before I did instead of nursing my old one along. It’s more powerful and lasts longer than my old OEM battery. It was easy to install after watching a video on the procedure. Make certain you’re buying the correct battery for your model of Dyson - there’s a video on where to find your model number.

My Dyson came with the 2000ma battery originally. It worked well for years but the run time wasn't great! Could only use it on high in a couple spots or it would go dead! Now it goes and goes! Can do everything on high if needed and still have juice! Was worried about the charging hole lining up with my original wall charger, works perfectly! 5 Stars!

Works fine, but somehow very often that when I unplug the charging cord the vacuum gets a pulse, like someone's pulled the trigger and released it quickly. Seems like the battery sends a brief power to the vacuum when it's unplugged. A bit weird. Other than that it works great.

Our original battery took a dive. This aftermarket battery was a perfect replacement fit, all of 3 minutes to remove the two screws (be careful not to strip them) and slide in the replacement battery.Replaced the original battery in our Dyson DC 59 Motorhead. Easy to install (per the included instructions). Charged per SOP. Now the Dyson runs as strong as the new original, but for a longer period of time. Even included two replacement air filters. Highly recommended!

UPDATE- seller reached out and offered a replacement or refund. Great customer service. For this alone, I would Recommend purchasing from this seller!The battery will not turn off. I have To completely disconnect the battery from the vacuum. It worked great for first 30Days but now I cannot Use it at all.

This has more power than the original and it runs the Dyson longer. The old battery died, this one gave my beloved Dyson new life.

I have two huskies, so my Dyson vacuum gets quite a bit of use. After about three months, the battery that came with the Dyson just... gave up on life. Dyson wanted to charge me $100 to send me a new one, as the vacuum's warranty was expired. Instead, I found this battery, and it works even better than the Dyson brand one! It was easy to install as it clicks right into place (there are two screws that will require a small screwdriver or drill bit), it charges within a few hours from completely empty, and lasts plenty of time for me to fully vacuum my fur-covered apartment!
