Dory Fantasmagory: Tiny Tough Hardcover – October 8, 2019

This is one of my kids' favorite series. We always preorder. This is great for families with kids of different ages because when the first book came out, my younger one was only 2 or 3 years old and the older one was just starting to read chapter books. It has pictures on EVERY page and I was able to keep both kids satisfied during reading time. The story line is hilarious.

We thoroughly and deeply love the four other Dory books. This feels like it’s written by a different person. The zany narrative that is so Dory has gone missing. Instead of the wildly goofy and imaginative meanderings of a child’s imagination the writing is clunky and linear. Just has a very different flavor. We miss Rascal and her unique language and world. The ride is just not the same.

Another fabulous addition to the Dory series. My son's (7&10 now) love these. We heard about the series on Kids Place Love when Abby Hamlin did an interview in 2017 and bought the ones available. We haven't been disappointed.Highly as stories. It usually takes us around 40\60Minutes to read them out loud. The word butt is used.

The author is very creative! The stories are interesting and funny at times and there is a lot of creativity that went into them. BUT, the siblings are not nice to each other. The kids lie a lot too. My daughter is almost six and i feel that this wasn't the best choice to read to her. I think it might be appropriate for older kids, perhaps over 8 or so.

My 7 year old loves this series and so do I. We both end up laughing out loud. This book just cracks me up. It's also good chapter book for a reluctant reader. It's not too hard and the story keeps her interested. A little easier to read that the Ivy and Bean series.

Hi! its Dorys Top fan speaking now and i saw the first book It had SO MANY BAD REVIEWS!!!!!!!!! i dont get it people why is dory bad??????? me and my mom (who picked this out) love it!!! but anyway i am crossing my fingers for a 6th book because i never want dorys adventure to end!anyway i gotta go so bye!-bella=^..^=

Amazing book. I love all the books from this series. They are so adorable and fun! I wish the author writes more!

My daughter (age 8) and I love the Dory series. She was so excited when our copy arrived! The book is full of laugh out loud moments, silly make believe you can only find in a Dory book, and in this installment, some sisterly love. For my 3rd grader, the theme of dealing with siblings and friendships was a perfect fit.

Dory is an absolute delight, my son cannot get enough of her and her delightful, imaginative friends. He is so enthralled, he brought the book to school for show and tell and asked the librarian when they would have it available. Dory is funny and inventive, she has fantastic adventures and even makes adults laugh out loud. I am always looking for books that fall between picture - and chapter - books, this is great, it has illustrations scattered in the paragraphs and something to look at on each page. We cannot wait for the next book to be released.
