Miami Grind - Chromium Herb Grinder - Pollen Catcher + Scraper + 4 Piece Spice Mill (Blue)

Gorgeous item. The pix don't do justice to it. I got the gunmetal and it's a lovely dark metallic color, more brown than black, with warm golden metallic highlights instead of the cool grey/silver you usually think of when you hear"gunmetal". It's very distinctive; unique looking.There's a good amount of heft to this little thing. The magnetic top is very strong. No accidental openings there. Not too small for arthritic hands, but not so big that you lose a lot of material coating surfaces. NO odor to the piece. No transmitted flavors. Has a slight fingerprint ridge texture that doesn't show YOUR fingerprints. Keeps it's beautiful shine even after grinding away. It's really a quality piece. Very classy looking with good fit and finish. The grind is even, and fluffy. I use it to grind medicinal herb for a vaporizer, and it's even grind makes it vaporize more effectively.I'll probably pick up a different colored one for culinary herbs and a red one for dried peppers, in the kitchen. It works great.Only thing that saddened me was the threading was a bit different on the pieces, so I couldn't take the screen out and just have a 2 compartment unit where I grind directly into the bottom space. No big deal; it wasn't advertised to do that so I'm not taking any stars off.It's priced much better than other grinders made with comparable non-toxics, and it was a super-fast delivery to my door. I ordered it sunday, and had it in hand Tuesday midday!

I bought the Miami Grind grinder from OZ Solutions. As noted in the picture at the time of ordering, I selected a color Gold Grinder which was labeled Gun Metal. I thought that’s a weird way of labeling something that’s gold (like jewelry) but that’s what I wanted to so I bought it.I received a grey one similar to other products’ gunmetal colors.WARNING the color in the photo after selecting your option may not be correct. With my shallow personality I was selecting this product over other herb grinders simply because of the awesome Gold color. Which I did not receive.I contacted OZ Solutions who stated,“Hello there, Unfortunately, we do not carry agold grinder yet. We apologize for the confusion.All the best,MiamiGrind”Which I find odd given the photos of the Gold Grinder on the amazon Page.It should be noted the amazon product page is now different with less color options (only four) to choose from than when I first ordered.Also stated on the product page is the following…..“Your search for the best herb grinder is finally over. When you purchase from us today, here are just some of the things you can look forward to: *No "switcheroo" - what you see in our pictures is exactly what you get. “Well if that isn’t ironic.As far as the actual herb grinding performance, I’m not sure because I think I will be returning this and do not want to use it yet. I screwed off the pieces and it’s not as smooth as I would expect. It feels like It’s getting caught, similar to cross threading, not smooth like a typical nut and bolt.And the other review stating their website got hacked…It’s still down as of August 4th, 2015….hmmm that must be some ‘hacker’Attached a Photo of what I ordered.

The two middle pieces are stuck together. I tried with all kinds of pliers, soaking in oil, soap, etc. Nothing worked. I even ended up taking the screen off to get a better grip with the pliers but nothing. Still stuck. Came like that, didn't get to use it even once. I wasn't able to contact the seller.I highly recommend getting a Cali Crusher. Just a little more expensive than this one but its a top quality grinder never failed, got stuck or anything similar.

Mine was a little hard to turn, then I rubbed some olive oil on it overnight and it worked better. If you want an almost fine powder for your herbs, this is your weapon.

its a great grinder, and has sharp theeth that cut your herb instead of just pulling it a part. the pollen catcher works quite well, but the only thing that isnt the best about it is the threads. it is a bit finicky when screwing it together as the female and male threads dont fit tightly together, so it becomes easy to get the threads stuck in the wrong channel (sorry for the confusing phrasing). other than that i love it.
