I mislaid my old wand and this is a replacement. I have used these for a number of years and they are great for weeds growing amongst slabs or Pavement outside the house. They are very effective but I don't use them where I have oak chipings, OK on bare soil and gravel - I am just going to clear the grasses etc under my bird table. Better than getting my hands amongst the droppings! Of course, I found my old wand the day this arrived...

Very useful product. I have Arthritis so cannot pull weeds. I also have pets so don 't wish to use chemicals. Some reviewers have said the igniter fails but mine has worked every time so far. The cannisters last a good time and there is no bending to use it. Can't fault it so far, especially for the price.

The ignition system on this lit the gas once and then failed I will continue to use the wand and light it with a long nosed lighter so it won't be a dead loss but just be aware of this failing

The igniter did not work. A true waste of money, which I have lost as the product cost was neither refunded or replaced. I purchased as a result of good reviews but honestly this is neither worth your precious time or hard earned cash. Best to buy a product with good service back up as well.

Easy to use and deals well with small weeds. Needs patience with bigger weeds but does do the trick.

I can only use one arm so needed something easy for carer to set up then I'm away, who thought killing weeds could be so much fun.

Would recommend. It's nicely balanced and easy to use.
