Good introduction to the game
For players of Fate/Grand Order, this is a useful recap of the events that kick off the game. It pulls together a lot of things that are only hinted at or recalled in flashbacks during game play, while managing to be entertaining without being repetitive or boring. The manga also stands on its own very well; you do not have to have played the game in order to understand what's going on.

Good manga overall, However I wouldn't recommend it to those who haven't played FGO already.
Mortalis: Stella is a good manga overall, as it is a faithful adaptation of the first/prologue level of Fate/Grand Order, Singularity F. The high point is that art is really nice, and I love the art style, especially in comparison to the art style in the Fate/Zero manga which I wasn't wholly a fan of. However, this being said, one of the low points is a major one and that would be that I wouldn't recommend this manga to anyone that hasn't already played FGO or watched the OVA, Fate Grand Order: First Order. My only view is that -Mortalis: Stella- could become confusing for those reading that don't have much prior knowledge on FGO already but if you are already deep in the FGO universe, then go for it.

Wonderful
I'm a huge fan of FGO and this does a fantastic job of expressing Singularity F! The art is phenomenal and the main character is written very well!

A decent introduction to a fun game.
Not going to lie, the Fate series has had it's ups and it's downs. It's always been incredibly ambitious in scope, and has had some amazing successes on execution, but also a few duds. This manga is an introduction to the culmination of the whole series, and I would like to recommend it, with some reservations. If you're buying this, I assume you've seen Fate/Stay Nigh and/or Zero, so I'll spare you the basic worldbuilding. In this latest volume, Ritsuka Fujimaru has been given a tremendous task, investigate changes to history that are threatening to end civilization as we know it. And that means summoning servants, including his new friend and demiservant, Mash Kyrielight. This manga had decent artwork, though it was hard to follow what was going on at times. And while I like the plot and character work so far, I have concerns about the future. Since this is based on a game, Ritsuka fills in for 'the player', and since that's a fairly passive role, I'm not sure he's going to have enough to do to be a good character. But I suppose time will tell.

Model lead to manga to fan
I got interested in this version of fate first because I found a model of Mash at a store and thought if I’m going to build this I might as well look for the manga. And even if the other series’s don’t interest me I think I’ll follow this one.

Huge Fate fan and wanted to get more into the manga. The art is very well done and the overall story is interesting even if you dont follow FGO. Definitely recommend it to those who are into fate or manga in general.
