Just the right amount of brightness…not too low and not overwhelmingly bright. And easy to use.

These are bright lights! Brighter than those available in big box stores. The price is a little bit on the high side but the quality is worth it in my opinion.

When rope light is used outdoors year round, the UV from the sun deteriorates the vinyl tubing. I do not know how to prevent this. This purchase replaces one that is about 5 years old. No separate power supply required, just plug it in. Small inline box contains transformer and diodes to convert AC to low voltage DC. Happy with this set. Comes with mounting clips, but I use cup hooks (box of 50 or 100 from Home Depot) which work very well. When used with 110 V power cord with remote control, also from HD, I can turn lights on or off from inside house (could use timer instead, but like the remote feature).

So far so good. Like many before have said these are brighter and the light slightly wider than expected. However, they are working well and we’re easy to install. I have ordered an outdoor dimmer to see if I can turn the light out put to the desired level.

These are not soft white, rather a kind of soft yellowy/green color. But, better than bright white. t's hard to find a true soft white like the incandescent white you can't get anymore. These seem to be good quality. I may try an outdoor dimmer too.

These worked perfectly out of the box. No need for a DC power brick with these they plug right into your wall and use 110v. They are very bright and a nice warm color. They CANNOT be cut like the description says (who would want that anyhow?) -- But they can be daisy chain extended.
