When I washed thoroughly with soap, Out side of the bottle,bottle cap and at drinking nob color faded that means this is not copper at that places.

I had an interesting experience with my order. Using Amazon Prime I received a dented/tarnished copper water bottle. With my dissatisfaction, I returned the item and the seller was notified. Within a day they reached out to me directly to understand what happened. Without hesitation they sent me a new replacement free of charge and WOW am I happy they did! I love this water bottle so much! I use it every day, it is light, keeps my beverages cool and has great properties being that it is entirely copper (the only thing that isn't is the rubber ring around the lid to keep it from leaking). I will be returning this product. The grease smell, which I can assume comes from the lacquer put on the inside of the bottle, is disgusting. Why would I want to drink from something that smells like it was coated in engine grease. Wish I would have seen that part of the discription before I purchased. It also leaks at the lid even when put on as tight as it can be.

Nice wrapping. But when we unwrapped and opened the bottle, there were soiled hand and finger prints inside. Disgusting!! The bottle is also completely different than what is shown in the photos. Compare the lid for yourself in the photos. I looked at the bottom of the bottle and found that too had multiple dents. :(( Will be returning. STAY AWAY from this! How can we imagine drinking from this!!

I purchased this after watching Sadhguru's video about storing water in copper vessel. So far it seems to be superior than especially plain plastic, taste wise & texture, or even stainless steel bottle, more soft & refreshing. Packaging was phenomenal, paper wrapped completely around + bubble wrapped, inside box shown. Only complaint is arrived with minor scratches on the bottom both inside & outside, I'm hoping the inside ones don't allow faster oxidation & that famous "green rust" we know all to well from Statue of Liberty.Kosdeg company affiliate, if you are reading this, may I have a suggestion? The bottle is very cold to hold, extremely so when left in a fridge (which is common with these, to allow the water to "infuse" with the copper health benefits). As such, in the future, you could release silicon sleeves? (I noticed them from a different company, yet decided to purchase from yours anyways, due to factors such as reviews, convenience on Amazon, and larger volume [i.e. 34oz vs 32oz]) Thank you for providing this excellent product & service to health & the community! =)

after a month or two in minimal use, the threading was stripping so it makes it hard to reseal and its exposing the metal and leaving a very poor taste

Sucks! Not as advertised. No stamp! No labeled box! Not copper...! It’s plated copper and not done well. If you clean it thoroughly, you will scrub the copper off! Was led to believe that this was going to be a solid copper vessel...nope! I’ve he’d the piece of crap in my house for weeks but AMAZON has delivery pending.....junk! Junk junk

I've been using my new water bottle for a few days now and I've been very happy with it. It seals up well and I haven't had any trouble with it leaking. The taste of copper takes a while to get use to but it's not bad, just different. Update, I've been using this water bottle daily for the past 7 months without any problems. I've washed it 3-4 times with dish soap and water and I only drink alkaline water out of it so the inside is just as clean as when I first got it. It's pure copper so the outside is somewhat discolored (I'm a mechanic so I get all kinds of chemicals on my hands), I've dropped it a few times so it's got some dents, I've frozen too much water in it causing the bottom to push out (I just tapped it back in with a hammer) and it still stays sealed. I like that you can stick it in the freezer with just a little water in it and the water will freeze in 5-10 min. then you can fill it up and have cold water very quickly. I'm still very happy with this water bottle and just ordered another one for a close friend.
