Meykoe 1000x700mm Illuminated LED Bathroom Mirror Anti-Fog LED Mirrors with Lights + Touch Switch Control + Demister

I ordered two of the 1000x700 mirrors via separate orders to get the 5% voucher on both and had a couple of delivery issues including one mirror broken in transit. The seller responded quickly and dealt with the issues so that I had my two packages within the original amazon delivery timing window. Amazon still thinks one is on its way! So full marks for the seller.Right on to the mirror...I’ve researched all sorts of custom mirrors and I could not find one that did everything I wanted unless I paid in excess of £300 each after I had customised everything as some manufactures do. A lot of those custom mirrors are simply a mirror with a cheap plastic frame stuck on and no real rear casing which helps provide the IP rating. Some of the manufacturers do allow you to upgrade to an aluminium frame.This mirror has an aluminium frame running right around the back just in from the outside edge. You can see it unless you look for it - see pictures.The frame houses the LED’ which are neatly behind a defuser which again adds to the aesthetics and help to ensure an even light pattern around the edge. I’ve tried to show this in the photographs.This unit has the touch switch mounted on the front, which was something I didn’t want originally when looking but I am glad I got it now as the switch emits a light blue glow at night which can help guide you if you don’t want to turn the entire bathroom light, fan and all on when heading to the loo in the middle of the night. You can then just switch this on and use the mirrors soft light.The demister pad only come on when you switch on the mirror lighting.Another point I noted with some mirrors you can buy is that some have text etched onto the front of the glass - this is not the case with this one - nothing to spoil the front at all. In fact the mirror even has another peel off plastic layer that you can leave on while installing.Hanging the mirror is easy - no template but it’s a simple measure hole centre distances draw a mark for your first hole and using a spirit level make the next mark. If you have a rotary laser then you can set up off your first mark and measure along to the centre of the second hole. I opted to use a different set of fixing to what was supplied as I never trust manufacturer supplied real plugs and opt to use Fischer components.I’m very pleased with my purchase and they look great in the bathrooms. Nice quality product that does what it says on the tin - the only want would be an illuminated magnifyer but at £103 for this opposed to over £300 I can live without.You will not be disappointed if you buy the mirrors I did. This is a lovely looking mirror and the heated surface is a great idea when you want to use the mirror after a shower. The only downside is that you should beware that the light around the side comes from LED strips that face sideways so you get a right angle glow around the rim which looks lovely but is not bright enough to light your face up for serious make up or shaving. So more a decorative feature than a proper lamp.

Builders put it up in 5 minutes so I take it, it was easy to installThe blue light is always on so when you open the door it’s not completely dark and you can just turn this mirrors light on instead of turning the bathroom ceiling lights onThe touch switch is wonderfulIt’s a great modern mirror !Definitely worth buying this mirror instead of spending £300-400 on a mirror that shows the weather and time, which is not worth it.
