It's Okay If Only You're Using It For Sauces, Syrups And The Like!
The only disappointment I have buying this thermometer is it is not an instant read thermometer, rather the readings increase gradually to the degree you're heating the liquid. That specifically means that you cannot take temperatures of the items being baked inside your oven, as the temperature on this thermometer increases relatively very slowly and by doing that you'll lose a lot of heat produced from your oven and thus this instrument is impractical for that purpose. Besides that I have used it many times to measure the temperatures of various liquids and it is pretty accurate at that. I hope this helps!

Making cheese needs milk to be at proper temperature. So also to make curd at home.this product meets my needs
